yes i thought dont let me down was a great choice for a lesson, especially the middle section that i always played wrong but now thanks to you i can play it properly thank you ever so much, any chance of little lamb dragonfly off red rose speedway that would make an excellent lesson there must be loads of people out there who would appreciate that one with its vast array of chords and great melody lines and great for acoustic guitar, once again many thanks for dont let me down

Such beautiful pocket placement. Everyone talks about a drummer being "in the pocket." But the other instruments need to be in the right place of that pocket. "How to ride that wave" so to speak. You sir nail it. You're the best on the internet. My biggest pet peeve is people yapping FoR eVeR before they show they don't really know how to play what they're trying to show you anyway. And by the way, I have donated to this man... So should you if you're reading this!

Thank you Andy!!! Your attention to detail and nuances and making us conscious of all that, is unsurpassed! Makes us deliver better than we ever could without you! And hopefully will teach us how to find them all ourselves as we move forward! This is John's masterpiece answer to Paul's masterpiece, Oh Darling! But this is really much more a complete team effort. They are all in tune with each other and it really flows! Always a pleasure! Billy Preston takes it up a notch or two as well! Perfect!

Great lesson as always. For anyone playing solo acoustic I recommend playing the main riff by baring the D string at the 4 fret, same pattern from there. Then just play John’s part. It’s a hit at family gatherings.

I so appreciate that you just play it through once so we can just get the overall flow. As a moderately skilled guitarist, I don’t need the long-form breakdown of each note as a starting point - just need to see what you’re doing on the fretboard. If one needs a deeper dive, you provide that too later in the lesson, so it’s all there. I’m new to your channel, but I’m assuming that is by design. Thanks much.

I think this has got to be in my Top Ten favourites of your ' How to's .. Just some lovely little playing there . Lovely tone from your hands . & you Know I think I might even be able to manage a version of this myself .. But while I was watching I was reminded of those early schooldays where the world was divided into " Stones " fan's & " Beatles " fan's ... seems so silly now but it was as important as "what's your star sign ? " to a lot of Girls .. I was a wannabe Keef & Mick Taylor guy But George was my favourite in the Fab Four . Recently I have been watching a lot of old ' Content ' about how stuff was recorded & the little tricks musicians would use . sometimes keeping it tricky on purpose .. Like not letting the other guy's know all your tricks lol & it reminds of that ' Endless discussion ' " Do Girl's dress up for themselves ? for Men ? or for other women ? " & there is a comparison with musicians " Do we show off for each other ? ( within the Band even ) for the Fan's ? ( most fan's do not care if it's a diminished flat 9th with an added 13th ) & most Drummers ( except singing drummers ) don't know the words to the song's lol Most Fan's cannot sing more than the hook & a chorus & maybe one or two lines that mean something special to them .. I think that in this case The song & the guitar parts were just done for the love of making great music & as always there is that sense of humour musicians enjoy when they throw in a little surprise .. or a nice harmonic twist ? I watched JJ Cale smiling to himself as he left Eric baffled while switching things about . I am not challenging you as there is not a single answer but I have seen at least six different versions of After Midnight & the same goes for JJ ' s take on a shuffle But as I say to my wife if it aint got that swing .. A good song should make you want to dance or sway .. Like this Classic Beatles song it doesn't Let you Down & neither do you . I promise one of these days I am gonna buy a t shirt or a mug or something . You might not look at many similar sites offering to teach song but I do & I can Honestly say you are the best if arguably in a top three or four with some of the others giving your old mate Tim Pierce a mention . Thanks again . Over here in Darkest Backwoods Forestland Mywife & I just got Vaccinated against the dreaded Covid .. 1st time I had been out of the house in 2 years lol . Stay Cool & Be safe Big love to you & all of your loved ones . here is hoping there is a better summer ahead . Bye
