Thank you so much! Saw The Black Crowes last week, and this song was playing as part of the pre show music. I have been taking guitar lessons since Jan and slowly progressing. I taught myself tHis song last night just from your video, and I am so proud of myself! I can’t wait to show my teacher at this week’s lesson! Hey my friend, thanks for commenting. I’m “loosely” strumming a ⬇️⬆️(⬇️muted)⬆️⬆️⬇️…. Now, this is how I strum the chords but it’s not necessarily how the original artist strums the chords. There is no right or wrong strumming pattern here as long as you have the general rhythm. I always teach students to play the song, not the strumming pattern. Hey @ronlarge7024 thanks for you comment. I use a combination or my Bose ToneMatch and a TC Helicon Harmony GXT. I recently learned the TC Helicon no longer makes a similar model. That’s unfortunate… I saw a Boss pedal the other day that I’m curious about though. It has similar features to the TC Helicon. It’s called a VE-2 Vocal Harmonist. I’d suggest having a closer look at your local music store.

Hi @ZeligUbique, thank you for taking the time to comment on my tutorial. I appreciate all feed back and constructive criticism. I would like to answer your points to clarify to you and others that may read your comment what my position is on your comment. My “preamble” introduction quickly discusses three points. The original writers of this work which I believe is lacking on KZbin tutorials. Credit must be given to the body of work. I mention that I use BeatBuddy for a back beat because that simply reduces the number of emails I get asking what I use. I also mention my own music… why wouldn’t I?? My friend there’s 86400 seconds in a day, certainly 90 seconds of an introduction about some key points won’t put you out… this is after all a free tutorial for you. I’m quite sure your comment took you more than 90 seconds to write… just saying. My tutorials are simplified so beginners can pick up a song quickly. In my description of my page, I clearly state that not all of my tutorials are exactly the same as the original. I also perform a cover. Not all covers are performed in the same key as the original. My singing voice and style is in a lower key so I change it up. There are no rules in music my friend. Thank you again for taking the time to comment.
