The videography is so minimal and stylistic at the same time just like your dynamics and technique. Super entertaining to watch and inspiring, keep the groove going senpai!

Damn, Jeff. I'm really trying to be consistent in my practice: set goals and practice in that direction... But every time you upload something like that I just can't resist jumping onto my kit and trying it out immediately! Super clear, super useful, super effective. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration to me!

It will come with time, Ben. Stephen Taylor refers to it as the, “red headed step child.“ It took a very long time for me. You just have to stay at it and don’t give up on it and it will definitely come. It’s almost as though it comes naturally. You’ll start to feel the time in your left foot.

Great video. I always think the solo should reflect the song and still allow your audience to groove.

Jeff, thank you so much. You have answered the questions ive asked myself for many years, what rudiments to use and how to use them to put together a drum solo. I am now practicing the videos, 6 stroke roll, triplets and soloing with flow. Excellent. At the age of 59 I might finally put together some sort of Buddy Rich style solo. Obviously not as good :-) Thanks!

Very nice Jeff been a drummer for years but i thought it was a great video ,and being a Jazz drummer and keeping time with the hat while doing paradiddles ,doubles ,flams, etc is a good process and a good recipe for excellence. Well done!

My grandson does drum lessons and I've seen him go super fast and just making his own beats and tries to do solos and he's only 10 and his mom said that the teacher said he's the fastest learning and best out of all the kids .

Well there's a lot of kinda this and kinda that. You can play. But where's the flow. No highs and lows. Linda one level.

You play to many licks and it doesn't flow!!! Joe Morello said he never practiced licks and thats why he flows so well. Drumming is becoming so lick oriented that nothing flows anymore. You have to think melodies if you want to flow on the drums
