Ok, everybody is complaining about it being complicated. Hey, that means more play time. Also, look at Monopoly, Chess, and Clue. Those all also complicated board games. And I dont see anybody complaining about how complicated they are

She starts the game with a cake token that she can use to turn into a room to get scarier. But if she does, it flips over. Once she tries to capture the card, it flips back up and she can use it again to get scarier just like any other cake token.

Basically you get a cake token, if use cake token, you flip it to X. If you attack night guard, you regain it back.

You use the cupcake piece as a cake piece to spend, only once until you attempt to scare the guard, only then will you flip the cupcake back over

I got the game a couple of days (Nov. 22 2023) ago and read the whole instruction manual not knowing the QR code was right in front of me the WHOLE time. So we took a break on the game til the next day, while I was putting the game board, the tokens, the cards, the bag, the Scare Tracker, the camera, and the characters away, of course the last thing I put away was the manual. I grab it, walk up to cabinet I put the stuff in, I bend down (please don’t make that weird), I put it in (that too), close the door, stand up and mid away from standing up I pause. I look at it then open the door to be greeted with a QR code! I was like “bruh, i am NOT getting those 26 minutes of my life back….” It’s probably because I think I’m a slow reader but for some reason, it felt like an eternity to get through. But! I think whoever voiced in that video, summarized and explained in the most simple way possible but still understandable that if someone read the manual (me) and if someone watched the video (also me) that they would both get about 98.5% amount of the same information. Props to that guy!! 👏👏👏 plus he has a narrator voice! +10! 270+10=280! 280 points for both editors and the voice actor!
