I’d also say that gardener’s toolbox is very situational, and usually you aren’t going to be pulling off a trick where you save a ballooned survivor if the hunter is good (they just will hit you while carrying the surv/there’s tons of chairs and will probably drag them somewhere else). It depends on what playstyle you prefer, but usually I swap out her box with something from a chest (ONLY if you come across one, don’t go looking for it). Plus, if you choose to keep the toolbox, don’t break every chair you find, because you are wasting decoding or rescuing time. Only time I’d break a chair like that is if it’s a bad one with nothing around it. Also body blocking is nice yes, but once you make it to alicorn, champ, or peak tier, you are expected to take care of yourself after you get off chair. Not body blocking makes the person who rescued you available for another rescue or decoding. Usually people at that tier only body block until death/at all if you’re dead on chair. Although, if you rescue immediately with your bubble, you 120% need to body block bc we rely on the hit recovery to get away. If you aren’t confident with body blocking, just rescue normally after getting hit. Ultimately, it all depends on your preference, playstyle, and the tier that you’re playing. Not everything I have said MUST be done. Plus Identity V is a very situational game. Things can change depending on the hunter, map, and your fellow survivors. So just trust your judgement on what you think needs to happen. :) This was a veryyy long comment, but I’ve been playing this game for agesss and I gotta bestow the knowledge 😭😭

@dakaruhpoto9221 think of it as strengthening her rescue and kiting capabilities lol. It's better to swap your box out for something you will 100% use than keeping what she has, that you will rarely use in an effective way. I don't play someone else because her bubble can be useful and I like to play whoever I like whenever I like :)) I have multiple mains but I also enjoy playing gardener, regardless of if I decide to swap out the toolbox or not. If you aren't happy with that kind of gardener playstyle, I don't care, but please don't spread hate to others who use it, bc plenty of other high tier gardeners apart from myself use this method and it is always successful. :)))

I personally just sprint to really good kiting areas in the map when I get hit without my shield up. For example, for Arms Factory, I try my best to make my kiting route as close to the factory as possible as it is the most broken kiting area in the map, so if ever I fail my kite or I miscalculate my shield, I can just use the veteran bonus to go towards there.

it’s a speed boost that “veterans” (doctor, thief, lawyer etc.) gain after being hit. the boost is faster than with other survivors!!

when the gardener is being pulled by nightwatch and ur trying to get bubble standstill. ur bubble activation is reduced and same for gamekeeper,etc

I have a question. As the game has released you could DESTROY rocket chairs and the hunter could NOT repair them. Well you can't anymore BUT there is a accessoire that is called "mini hammer". It's only for gardener as well and in the description it says: " a special effect that DESTROYS rocket chairs". Now my question is: if I have this accessoire can the hunter still repair the rocket chair or not? Sorry for the long text!

They did for monstrous bird! I have to go into the settings and make it invisible to other players tho because it's so distracting. Hunters used to see my shield unfurl giant ass wings 😭 it makes it so hard to hide

Sorry if this is an off topic comment - I know that in ashes of memory two, it might ask you to download the full client (and that inclues character story) but the story i'm usually trying to figure out how to get is doctor or gardener. I think you can get it from the download, but I have no idea how to play it.

I have a problem with the last deduction it's like actually: help teammates break loose from the hunter gasp I need help with that. To complete the story diary, I failed several times and it doesn't work !

basically you have to help a teammate escape while ballooned by breaking a chair, iirc. im also stuck on this deduction, so i dont have much advice! but ive gotten very close by bringing a friend that can play a character who heals easily (e.g. barmaid, doctor, etc) and trying to break the chair lots of times. its much more difficult as hunters dont have a hit animation when theyre carrying a survivor, but bringing a healer makes it easier. hope this helps!
