First timer to your channel and I’ve just started getting more invested into General Shao (more on PS5 than Switch), however I’m not very good with mix-ups yet so I usually prefer the “up in your face” playstyle with Shao. I’m playing as Shao a lot more because of this video and I wanted to thank you for making the mechanics of General Shao to a pretty simple level where everyone can at least learn the basics of Shao 😁 keep up the awesome work man

General shao is kinda slept on. I feel he is 1 good kameo release away from being NASTY. Him and Kung also are an insane combo

The same combos you do with Sonya you can do with Goro, just does a little less damage, but its worth it for the plus frames that the up punch gives you on block

Standing 1 2 confirms into the fatal blow, but that's the only thing i found that confirms into General Shao's Fatal Blow. Sucks he has a bad fatal blow in back to back games lmao

Just a quick note, If you use Goro you'll find that literally every single "Starter" Goro can be used for a combo extender. Sometimes I accidentally when I'm mashing use the forward string which on the 3rd hit launches the opponent far away. When you use Goro it's actually over a 400 damage combo. He can combo using any launcher shao has. I use use the back mid even that's still 400 damage

@@zulumaiox not really a good combo extender. You can combo off of forward 2 but otherwise you mostly just use him for pressure and set ups.

At 14:17 when doing the down forward 2, my shao always takes his axe back instead of doing the reverse treechopper. Does anyone know why?

You have to do ⬇️➡️ triangle or Y for the reverse treechopper

If back 2 is the move that he drags the ace on the ground and riaing uppercuts you. Its for sure safe on block. Tyler said it in Shaos Kombat kast and you can test it in lab. I could not find anything that could punish it.

Because in a match you not really raw activating it against a competent player. Grandmaster an d lower sure, but any rank higher they punish you for 50% with these broken cytax kameos
