Hay man, I love you videos. Im interested in learning guitar, my favorite band is QOTSA. Should I learn acoustic or electric first? (I intend to learn both anyways, but can only afford 1 right now)

Hey, thanks man! Well, it depends...I personnally "learned" the electric guitar first, i think it's kind of easier because strings don't hurt fingers as much at first, you can easilly bend it, and also the neck is thiner so does the body which make it more comfortable to start. You can also practice without bothering family (lawl) if you let in unplugged, or with headphones. But in the other hand, if you prefer the acoustic sound, and like to move your guitar with you often, an acoustic is great too. You also have different shapes and scales of guitars, with nylon or iron strings...It's easier to learn fingerpicking because strings are more apart. . In fact, i would chose an electric one, but i don't want you to chose something you don't want, i know that it's expensive (i can't actually afford an electric one at the time, so i know what it is) so if you have the opportunity to go to a music store or if you know somebody who has a guitar maybe you should try it, or at least carry it. It's also important to try to play what you like. So if you're influenced or if your favorite band is QOTSA, i guess electric would have more sense, since the majority of their songs are electric. I could write a lot since we talk about guitars but bla bla bla...:) Don't hesitate if you have more question. ;-)
