Wow! What a fantastic choice for an even more fantastic guitar lesson! Kelly I was fortunate to see Kim Mitchell and his killer band during this tour. They were headlining at an awesome water park in Hollywood, Fl. The Johnny Van Zandt band opened up and they killed it as well. But hot damn was Kim on fire. He is a vastly underrated/unknown musician in the States. And that is just ridiculous. We're always lagging behind in recognizing great and talented bands. Thank you so much for this one Kelly! ❤

Cheers mate, my pleasure. Kim is a killer guitar player and I'd love to have a look at more of his stuff, but sadly the only people who would know (and likely watch it) are Canadians.

Thank you for doing this lesson - very well presented and explained. And yes, many of us of a certain age that grew up here in the frozen wastelands north of the 49th parallel know that the first four Max Webster albums are chock full of amazing guitar playing. Don't usually hear Kim's name mentioned when folks are talking guitar players but this guy has truckloads of chops and his compositional skills kind of remind me of Joe Walsh in that 'riffmaster' kind of way. Think intro to 'Life in the Fast Lane' type of thing - loads of atypical but clever and catchy stuff on those Max Webster records - like you say though doing a lesson on "Oh War" or "The Party" - isn't going to generate millions of views for your channel ! (us Canucks would be happy though). Cheers and thanks again. @@KellyDeanAllenGuitar

My wife “hated” this song so the kids would like it. To have them singing this as we were riding around and pull into a gas station and grab a soda was great memories.

Love it. Not a favorite. But some nice licks to know there. You probably dont wanna start a big “request thing”. But a couple hard to find that I think are in your wheelhouse. Joe Walsh- All Night Long-The Confessor-Good Man Down. Aerosmith-Chiquita. Just saying. The tip jar will jingle. LOL. Thanks for the vids. Your great!!!!!
