I been playing guitar since 68...and singing almost as long..I been trained classically as well..and I always hit your videos to cheat and learn songs faster..I always get the feeling u feel like your voice isn't adequate for many songs..I always felt u could do much more with your vocals..this song proves it..if u can hit these notes so well..then I feel certain u can tackle those other songs u seem to avoid singing..u should just go for it Justin!!

I always sensed that timidity, my friends girlfriend is the same. Me n him will bellow out tunes hahaha. I don't think there's a person who can't sing, unless maybe they have a naturally wretched speaking voice. But its usually the timidity that holds back their voice and self-perpetuates into a full-blown belief that you can't sing.

I enjoyed the video, I’ll give it ago. One thing, though. Manfred Mann was a band and Manfred Mann was a person. Mike d’Abo took over as lead singer from Paul Jones and the song was written by Mike. He wrote it for Chris Farlow but then a young Rod Stewart said to Mike that he wanted to record it. In Rod’s version it is Mike on piano of course The Stereophonics recorded it many years later. Also, Ricky Gervais used it as the background to ‘The Office’. How do I know these things? I know Mike very well.

The 2 open 4ths make it on the Bass Run. Seen a few different posts on this tune, this one's the bollox, put capo where suits. And I've only Human thumbs and can't cheat with it on the 6th string. Only learning but a cool tune, can't believe Paul Jones wrote it (Manfred Man). I'm probably wrong I'll look it up.

Justin, your tutorials are great, but please use your own voice for singing, or you risk damage to your vocal cords. Look at Tony Rice, who hasn't been able to sing for 19 years. And Dick Gaughan almost had to give up singing in the '80s - imagine what a loss that would have been. ( If you don't know of Dick, ask Martin Taylor)
