1980 *really* doesn't seem like that long ago... Forty four years, though... Man... I can remember when that song was all over the radio when it was brand new.... Thanks for the lesson! Been wanting to learn this song for awhile now.

Thanks so much for doing this years ago I tried to learn this song and the syncopation threw me off so I gave up and forgot about it. Now 30 years later I've improved and stumbled across this video and it came together. Thanks

Oh wow this song.....sure does bring back some good memories..riding around with my friends, carefree, laughing and singing our hearts out with Eddie Rabbit..He sure put out some good sing along songs. This is a great lesson..good job..love your enthusiasm and heart for the music you share and teach...Also, beautiful picture of the Blue Ridge Mountains at the start of the video..Hope you're doing alright!

Glad you enjoyed it Kathie. I hope you have been doing well. And thanks for sharing those memories and the kind words. I traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway back in 2020 when COVID was happening. That storm was an amazing sight to see. All the best to you my friend!
