This song is a beautiful melodic challenge to play. That's putting it mildly. To actually know the amount of work he has dedicated to bring himself to this level would be astounding. He has spent his 10,000 hrs to infinity and beyond. 13:35 is ridiculous. I hear an amalgamation of Eric Johnson, Eddie Van Halen folded in with Mr. Zaza's ear for music. Wonderful !

What an amazing song, he is quite a dark horse Neil. He real adds that extra tone by making your ear readjust so the melody sounds fresh. He does that by the toggle switch.
@pud3547 жыл бұрын
I noticed all that pickup toggle switching (And you could actually audibly hear it in the mix), he must have switched positions at least thirty or forty times!

@cch31210 жыл бұрын
I think he's trying say they are easy because they are all just major and minor chords which are just three notes per chord. The sweeping skill is really difficult, I think he will agrees too.

I think he's rewritten the song before as the studio version plays the triad bit an octive higher, aswell as having other differences. You can play the song however you want really, as long as you follow the basic outline it will sound good.

And this is "HOW"? I used to play Neil songs bc they was relatively simple so most of it u can pick it up on ear. But his textbook narcissism and need to show off... Even though album versions is simple he makes videos "how to play it" and do it in such matter that not only beginners cannot figure out what was it but probably skilled players too. Feels like he wanna make u feel: "See how i awesome and suck, u wanna try to play it?.. Ha-ha.. loser". Sort of thing...
