Really enjoyed the Executioner in this detachment. The floating reroll fixes the main issue with the big gun and the massive volume of support shots really shines with Lethal/Sustained. It’s just a great place to dump buffs

Same man. I run 2 executioners in a dark angels list. Super fun. I've also recently started putting the master machine war enhancement on the ravenwing command squad with outriders. Having the auto advance makes a solid 24" range for the arua

I've been having a lot of fun with an Astraeus, Vindicator and Repulsor executioner on my backline, walling off a Techmarine with Target Augory Web. Marneus Calgar is also great to have on the board, just for the extra CP's. Then have two Redemptors roaming around, a callidus, thunderstrike and a lieutenant with Combi, just so my opponent has something to chase around, while I Pop them at distance. It's balls to the wall firepower, aimed at tabling your opponent, rather than capturing points. A lot of fun!

Predator Destructors work well in this detachment and I think Reapers are a must to help thin out a horde type army

3 redemptor and 3 repulsor executioner is my foundation with 2 tech marines. To replace the assassin I use a captain in Gravis armor with the flesh is weak enhancement. He’s such a tanky little character that is great for secondary actions

I've been playing BA Sons Detach, wanted to try Ironstorm. I have many tanks. Curious why you went 3 redemptors and no Rep Exec or even predators?

I've played over 100 games of 10th with my IH and never, never, never have luck with the Redemptor or Ballistus Dreads. The D6+1 on the Macro gun is too swingy. It should be D6+3. The las cannons should be twin linked. For 210pts, the Redemptor fist should have 8 attacks base...I could go on and on. There's just so much left to be desired with dreads in 10th. Now the Vindicators on the other hand are absolute rock stars. The amount of damage one can but out is crazy. My last game I did 33 damage after a clutch reroll. I know Invictors suck majorly but, I always run 1 in case I get first turn. An 8" scout move, plus an 8" regular move pretty much guarantees a charge 1st turn. With tank shock and the Invictor fist, you can do a ton of nice damage and tie a unit up.

Interesting! How many Reds are you using at the same time? I found that they strat performing when I run them in 3s.

@@vfminiatures I've done games with 1, 2 and 3. I've tried them with 2 Red and 2 Bals and both just seem to under perform. I want the Redemptor to be awesome but it's hard to throw 2 in there and use up 1/5 of my points when they've failed me time and time again.
