I don't understand what skill the damage come from. Same with lunox and kadita. I press everything and no one dies except me. Thats why I prefer tank and fighter. I prefer heroes with higher hp and crowd control. There is nothing more satisfying than stunning or slowing the enemies while simultaneously reducing their ability to regenerate shield and HP. And my team mates just batter the sht out off them.

When playing kagura, syncronize her ultimate. Don't let one be in cd without the other. When performing the 131232, if you don't want to push back the enemy (incase they escape your ult link), use auto-aim. It will put you directly on their spot so your ult won't knock them.

I'm once a Top 9 Kagura in QC. Personally, I'd use the discount emblem since I build clock of destiny first as it's time dependent. The earlier I complete the 12 stacks, the higher the damage and HP it gives. Kagura isn't a strong early game hero, which means every stat of HP counts. The discount emblem also benefits you in the long run since all items' costs are reduced by 10%. Here's my item progression: Demon Boots (change to a magic pen boots on late game, only when you have full items already) Clock of Destiny Lightning Truncheon Holy Crystal Necklace of Durance Divine Glaive or Winter Truncheon (to grow as a player and for risky plays) Battle spell: Flameshot (you can use a 1-2-3-Flameshot combo to bring the enemies closer to your teammates. Flameshot is somewhat a reliable long range retribution, if you're lucky, you can steal the first purple buff of your enemy, maybe even steal the turtle or lord some times and you can also use it to kill enemies who are retreating with low HP as well) TIPS: - ALWAYS BE MINDFUL OF YOUR UMBRELLA'S RANGE AND YOUR POSITIONING - DON'T USE SKILLS WHEN UNNECESSARY - ALWAYS USE YOUR UMBRELLA AS A WARD WHEN YOU CAN'T SEE THE ENEMIES IN THE MINIMAP

Skins are purely cosmetic which it doesn't really affect the skill range, gameplay or damage. But skins can give a little +8 Physical Attack for Marksmans/Fighters/Assassins, +8 Magic Power for Mages and supports, +100 HP for tanks. But sometimes skins can also change the hit boxes. This can be annoying if the hit box warning is invisible when you are on low graphics. Like Guinevere's amethyst dance which you can't barely seen her 2nd warning. When you set on smooth graphics and Guinevere is hiding in a bush. But this already been fixed

As a kagura user, I always use flameshot as my preferred battlespell for defense purposes if in case the enemy team has chase heroes. Eventhough kagura has free purify against cc heroes, it is good to note that her weakness is against chase heroes that have high sustain like zilong and alucard especially on late game.

Extra tips: 1. If your alone pushing, always put your umbrella near any bush, so you can easily use purple second skill for escaping. 2. Always put your umbrella far away from you. She's very vulnerable if she's not with her umbrella, and even if you manage to use purple second skill to go to your umbrella for avoiding any cc, you'll end up the opposite side of the map, which is very risky. If you have your umbrella far away from you, it's easy to pull it back because of the max distance of the umbrella, plus if your passive is available pulling your umbrella will automatically stun any enemy near you. 3. Never recklessly use full combo, her low cd skills is what makes her good. You can't just waste all those skills in one marksmen whose hp is half already. Try poking, and poking, then surprised combo with one type of ultimate plus execute. That's enough to kill very squishy heroes with half or two thirds hp left. 4. Always use your umbrella to scout, if your going in bush, use first skill first. You'll never know if there might be a waiting Guinevere there. 5. Never panick, she's a mage designed with skills that are perfect for outplaying. Much like Chou. (See that last two clips from our Kagura God Elgin😎) 6. Always make use of her passive. Back then, she can be a jungler, until tons of heroes came and removed her to that capability. But still, there are cases I use her as jungler in classic, and her passive is the way to go for that, always activate it when jungling and you'll don't have a hard time for your health bar. Bonus: Always play her. Experience is the key. Wondering how I got this tip? Cuz I main her since Season 10

Hi Im an old Top Local/Mid Global Kagura back in the day , here are my tips for her 1. With her umbrella, You could easily juke anyone with just aiming your umbrella at the other side of the wall if you are being chased. 2. Like the previous one, utilizing this is also good if a fanny is chasing you, it will caught them off guard and there cable spam combo 3. (Situational) You can use the flicker drag combo with the purple ult by perfectly timing the second phase of the drag phase (See hororo chan's video) 4. If you are building anti healing, also build glowing wand to boost the duration of life drain 5. Kagura has good zoning so be sure to always harass your enemy in the lane 6. Dont be afraid of tower diving because you can easily escape with your second skill 7. You can purify Wanwan's marks just by dashing 8. Kagura's umbrella is sorta like a ward, dont be afraid to sometimes front and check the bushes for your team Easiest way to master her is to take your time and memorize her basic combos. Dont panic or you might lose track of where the umbrella is when clashing. Take things relatively slow first and soon her skills will become second nature to you. She has a steep learning curve but she is so worth it when you master her. She is always a go to pick for professional plays and she has never fallen out of the meta as long as I can remember.

If it's not, lay low for now For hayabusa try blinking towards a nearby jungle monster or minion wave or even your teammate to divide the damage, if there's a harley you need to time your blinks perfectly and be unpredictable with your dodges. Redirect your umbrella in an awkward position where Harley's cards cant get you If all else fails, just buy winter truncheon or immortality for a clutch outplay😁

My tip on kagura against heroes with dash: Doing the 131232 combo against heroes with dash can be useless since they can easily break the link of the 3rd skill and get away. I recommend 123131. After doing the 123 to an enemy hero with dash, enemies like selena would probably dash away but you still have your first skill so you can do the 131 after the 123 while selena's dash is now in cooldown. Hard to do it with dash heroes like fanny.

Extra tip: when u activate the purple ult you can use second skill to instantly teleport to your umbrella the link wont be cutt of so you can run after the mobile jungler and when they get teleported to you, you can use the blue ult and flameshot to push them close to your allies. Another extra tip? You can use the following combo to get an enemy hero out of their tower range: 1 - 2 - move behinde them - flame shot - 2 to get out Also i think mana boots is a waste on her since she can spam even without it. My favourite build would be: Elegant gem - magic pen boots - lightning truncheon - turn the elegant gem to clock of destiny - genius wand - divine glave - holy crystal or winter truncheon or even sometimes athenas shield when the enemy goes retard and picks like 4 or 5 magic damagers And i build her like this when there's important regen hero(es) in the enemy lineup: Magic necklace, elegant gem, necklane of durance, magic pen boots, lightning truncheon, elegant gem to clock of destiny, genius wand , sell magic necklace and but divine glave or holy crystal. I wont be surprised that there will be a lot of kagura users popping up on classic. Also we have the same equipment build except the demon shoes is replaced with arcane boots because the talent from the mage emblem (impure rage) is enough for me to regenerate my mana and genius wand is replaced with ice queen wand because of the slow and the extra mana increases the damage of lightning truncheon. I prefer replacing holy crystal for necklace of durance in case of high sustain heroes like esmeralda or fanny since the cd reduction helps you spam a little which can help you win on long fights. Also i prefer flameshot as a battle spell since i like sniping and stealing kills lol. Tips time: Tips for those who read till the end, you can play mind games with your enemies depending on your terrain for example since kagura is mostly used on mid lane you can use the bushes to your advantage and let your enemies guard down, you can direct your umbrella to the bushes and warp there in case you need to hide or prepare for an ambush. You can also use the umbrella as a distraction to make the enemies anticipate an attack, what i mean is that dont use your ult yet and just keep spamming first skill until you can initiate your ult combo, preferably when squishy heroes flock together near your umbrella. Also purple form umbrella or out of hand umbrella extends the range of your ult which allows you to link enemies that are in range of your umbrella.

Both has it's pros and cons though. I manage to survive haya and harley with the light ult for lunox mostly. Whereas kagura will probably have more of the upper hand against selena , eudora , saber. I like to play bait with selena a lot using kagura tbh. I'd just pretend I'm in trouble when her stun hits , when she comes for the kill , purify and 1 , 3 , 1 lol

As a kagura main I highly agree but the 3rd core item which is genius wand can be replaced with a few items in different situations You can either replace it with glowing wand if you're a support Concentrated energy if you want to the main mage Winter truncheon if enemy has some stronk physical heroes One more tip is you want a guarantee kill, just poke the enemy and lower their hp with your umbrella then do the combo wombo to get some easy kills I prefer using her ult in teamfights and using umbrella for squishy heroes because her 1st skill deals already good dmg when you're in full build. There are a few things to remember : 1. Kagura is a number one hero in delaying enemy movements 2. She isn't immune to cc, she removes them only once. Not only ccs, all marks that activates a certain skill combo will also be erased (except Luo Yi's). Suppress cc can even seal her purify skill. 3. For items, you may also consider using Calamity Reaper instead of magic pen items, since true damage is almost unstoppable and you can even use its infinity loop to duel almost any role, and you may also bring Concentrated Energy for healing after kills to indirectly make your enemies panic. Anti sustain isn't 100% needed for her. You may also bring blood wings last to maximize her late game potential. 4. To make the pulling do maximum damage, RETRIEVE the umbrella before the PULLING EFFECT. Just walk if you have no skill 2 to take it. Also never use the purify blink to instantly escape until you lure out enemy cc or you'll be in bad position against silent killers like me. That's all I can let you know on my soul's play for 4 years.

Extra tip: I’ve seen a lot of Kagura users (even elgin) use her first skill away from the enemies after using her ult that links enemy, it is way more effective to actually hit the enemy again with her umbrella for an extra slow because if you’re using it again just to pull your enemies to another spot, they can escape easily by just walking away really. That pull on her ult is just to pull back enemies escaping from her combos so don’t actually try to use it to pull enemies, use Faramis or Franco instead if you’re planning on doing that. Also try to maximize her Passive - Aggressive abilities. She can turn tables so easily. Just imagine you’re chasing Kagura then she uses her first skill to slow you, one second later she could do her combo and actually kill you than killing her first.

Personally, for the build, I'd get demon shoes first for mana regeneration and also clock of destiny for extra hp and mana. But when clock of destiny has fully stacked, I would replace demon shoes with arcane boots for that extra magic pen. The rest would be lightning truncheon, genius wand which can be replaced by divine glaive or necklace of durance and then holy crystal for extra magic power. For the last item, it would either be winter truncheon for survival or enchanted talisman for an easy savage. Your video is absolutely helpful to those who want to learn Kagura or don't know how to play her because of her difficulty as a mage.
