Oh man, thank you so much, I've been practicing the part 1 for 2 days now, I've never imagined I'd be able to play something that precise and beautiful someday, well thanks to you now I can, and I'll practice it until I'll play it the smoothest way possible. The part 2 is clearly for me the most difficult to figure out, so I appreciate so much your accurateness, and I definitely will check out your other tutorials. Thank you so much for everything you're making.

Man, thanks so much for these videos. I would have never been able to figure out the tunings, the fingering and become the player I am without your help!

This is a really great tutorial Gareth, thanks for this, so much easier than trying to interpret the tabs for this tune

you dont need to play the chorus using that shape (middle and baby finger) because the b note that you hit with your index finger on the second fret can be reached by your middle finger on the 4th fret of the 3rd string, allowing you to play the chorus in a standard power chord shape

Absolutely fantastic lesson, couldnt have asked for a more detailed lesson, been looking for this for a while now. Massive thumbs up, keep up the good work. Maybe a guitar tutorial of Gracious by Ben Howard, its another song i've been struggling to get a tab / tutorial of.

Hi Gareth what a great tutorial! I never imagined that i could play this - the chorus is def the hardest part. I am wondering how to play the part where he sings 'i'll always remember you the same - eyes like wild flowers and your demons of change', so that i can play and sing the song as a whole :-) :-) (well i cant sing and play the chorus at the same time yet haha but i am managing the verses)

This took a flippin' long time for me to get the hang of but I have eventually done it! Thanks for the great lesson! However, I do feel that you could could have gone into more detail about the timing (between the switching of chords specifically). Thanks again!

brilliant tutorial. just curious, but he seems to play a similar strumming pattern for the verse as the chorus in the live on the bridge video with a slap on every 2 and 4. i am only just realising what an amazing guitarist he really is, deceptively difficult!

What goeiemorrege1 says is not entirely true, a massive amount of steel string guitars, including mine, have those white knobs. If you can't tell by sight then you have to go by sound. Nylon strings have a much softer, less ringing sound, especially on the higher string, so his is clearly steel.
