Lol, it is a 14 x 12 snare. It started as a prototype shell for the Mahogany/Jarrah stave kit that I play. I then asked Red Rock Drums to turn it into a floor snare drum and it worked out really well. It's great for the Eric Carr era, Whitesnake and Van Halen 🙂 Thanks for watching👍

As soon as i heard Eric Carr, i knew there was no way this was Criss. The drums sounded far more powerful and the chops were ROCK chops, not simple be-bop stuff.

Hi Sue, thank you for your message. Check out Red Rock Drums, Remo Colortone Heads and Red Cymbals. The drums are made from Jarrah and Mahogany.

Yeah single ply on the bottom and 2 ply on the top.

To get a huge drum sound, use Remo Emporers 2 ply, tune them low but not loose 👍🙂

Hey Bro, I have a strip of acoustic foam in the bass drum, about 10 inches wide. The foam touches the batter head and reso head. It dampens the sound but I feel like a coated Emad drum head will make it sound a lot better.

You got your bass drums tuned low and the front head too .how u tune the front .bass head
