Bolan along with Duff Mckagan are two of my absolute favorite bassists. Bolan has such a killer tone & attack on his basslines & he is a fucking lyrical genius.

Rachel's tone is classic Gallien-Krueger 800RB grind, not Ampeg. Also, with his Spectors it was a Kramer (not Hamer) he played live (detuned) on Youth Gone Wild.

You’ve covered many great bassists already but Dug Pinnick of King’s X is a must. He’s 72 years old and still killing it on bass. He has his own signature 4 and 12 string basses, as well as his own signature preamp. He sings in kind of a gospel style while playing bass in a band that inspired the Seattle sound. It’s time for Dug to get his own video.😏

Easily one of my favorite bassist out of the 80s Rock N Roll era. IMHO Slave to The Grind is straight ahead American Heavy Metal but still maintained the Skid Row signature sound.
