great stuff my man. I just got back into the band ''thing'' after a 5 year hiatus. I really got into the Ukulele and starting fresh with a new instrument taught me I can do anything if I take my time. I would always beat myself up about, how I should've been better on guitar after playing for 20 years. when I saw intricate guitar work, I would shut down thinking ''I can't do that.'' I picked up my Taylor (very similar to yours) about a month ago and am making significant strides, already surpassing my previous playing. Taking my time, and knowing, now, no one just wakes up and can do these things because of talent. That is key and that's why I LOVE your teaching style. You preach low and slow and Brother I'm buying-in on your sermon...lol. So, I'm back at lead vocals/rythm accoustic in a band and we are covering this. I've been singing it for years and never learned it on guitar...now I am...got the intro down and now working on the bluesy shuffle. I told my wife, when I came across your channel, that some thing about your teaching ''really clicked'' with me. Sorry, I'm never this long-winded...lol. Just wanted to say thanks. BTW, I play the Taylor 214ce and it's cut and finish is a twin of yours....what model do you play?

It sounds to me on the Hollie recording that instead of hammer on he is actually picking both notes. It's got that attack that sounds like a pick. Hammer on has a softer attack. But it could be he has some sloppy strings and very hard calluses.
