😊 I don’t always comment Shane, but I watch your uploads without fail and just wanted to come on and say a big ‘thank you’ for all you do for us on KZbin. Your lessons are first class and simply explained to us ‘lesser mortals’ all over the world, who would perhaps otherwise be unable to afford instruction. But the best bit for me is your ‘ENTHUSIASM’ while putting the techniques out to us. It makes me WANT to learn to play better. Give me another 1,000 years and I might be able to play half as good as you can! 🙈😂😂😂 Regards, Dave

The 2nd time on Am before adding pinkey to high E, is it A,G,D,A, and then High E with pinky and then B. Or is it A,G,D,A,B,G,D and then pinky on high E, B

Thanks for this. I was searching for the sheet for the intro pattern from many years ago but couldn't find it. I a book with the song in it, but it just isn't the same as having it broken down on a sheet. Of course this is even more handy. Now if you could expand on this with your looper and show how some of the slides and other bits fit into the song it would be great.

Love your style of teaching! Just some background...I am 67 y/o, cancer survivor that just had hert surgery a week ago. I picked up the guitar again after finishing chemo. If you can, I would really love to learn 'End of the Day' by Al Stewart. Thanks in advance!

Guitar At Work; Awesome rendition of this great song, and I particularly value your passion to teach giving comfort to the learner that it's alright to not get the song note for note, not until one "monkeys" ;) with the notes for a while until one gets the feel!

Cool song, great video, love it, can’t to try it. Been easing back into my guitar after some time of not really playing regularly and now I’ve one more reason to get to working on it. Just had a total knee replacement about 2 weeks ago so it will help take my mind off it. Thanks again Shane, hope all is well.

So many neat little techniques in this one, and you demonstrate and explain them so well that it takes any thought of "That's beyond my abilities" right out of the equation. And really loving the leads you've been offering of late; and nice addition and encourages the viewer to expand and explore. Thanks!

Didn't recognize the title or the artist when I received the notice that you'd posted this video, so I went to KZbin Music to play it before I watched your video here. Wow -- I'd completely forgotten this song ever existed! I totally remember it now -- but I'll bet it's been 25 years since I've heard it. LOL! Fun song! Definitely will see if I can't play along here shortly.

Love your strumming technique, it looks so relaxed on all your videos…..how do you do it? Great song Shane and nice shorts!!
@GuitarAtWork7 күн бұрын
Hey thank you Johnny - it was SO hot in the studio today - Glad you enjoyed and to me, the secret to good strumming is not hanging onto the pick to tightly and just let it skip across the strings instead of holding it too tightly and dragging it across the strings. Play fast songs quietly for good practice. My best to you! Shane

Another classic song that seems to have a similar chord structure is "Make It With You" by Bread. But you would know for sure. I think they both came out in 1970. I wonder if either band was influenced by the other's song?
