Hey gamers, I thought I'd put together a short little video to show how Love Letter plays. It's not a difficult game to learn, but I just wanted to give a quick demonstration on how the game plays. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the video! I played this game about 6 months ago and really liked it, so I purchased it recently. You helped me brush up on some of the rules!!

Excellent job in explaining the game. Shown and watched and didn't seem to pick up until your video. Thank you. 😊

Hi. I just discovered your channel but I noticed you haven't put any new set ups or overviews in over two years. This is also true for your Instagram and twitter accounts. I love your style of teaching the games. Your very clear, precise, and to the point. The camera angles and lighting are perfect. I actually like that you use a black background; it makes you and the white tabletop with game stand out. No distracting shelves of games, or a messy house in the background, or some over the top studio look. I just want to find out about new and interesting games and how to set up and play them. So where did you go? I hope you're still alive and kicking! 😜

Thanks for this - I’m hoping to play this game with the family this evening, so this run through was really helpful!

I picked up this game based upon having some friends play it and say it was decent. I was looking for a cheap little filler game for my game night. Thanks for the video! It explained how to play really well!

Thank you for this detailed how to! My boyfriend and I just got the adventure time love letter because we thought it looked cute, but the directions were a bit confusing, so this will really help with when we play this next time!

You never explained what the use of the first card you set aside is... Could you explain in what certain instances that card is used?

If the last action in the round was a prince and the deck ran dry, it provides a card to draw. Also, it serves as a bit of a card for uncertainty, so that you can’t deduce every card in the game; as one card is always -with one exception- not in play. Otherwise, you could keep a guard and just win (it’s still a good strategy to do tho).

Great! Thank you so much for this. I've heard a lot of good things about this game, but I keep messing up on silly details. The brochure is not very helpful in itself. In India, it's tough to get further guidance. Keep up the awesome videos!

Don't all discarded cards have to remain in front of the player who played them?

That’s how I’ve always played it. Especially with Handmaid to indicate immunity

i know you might not be looking for unsolicited advice, but here goes. i've been watching your channel for weeks now and it seems you are just getting started. the production quality of the video is excellent, the background, camera angels are good...it just seems that the personality behind the video could relax more, invite us more into your personality. the channel seems rather very plain, like the plain black background

I have do totally disagree with you. This is what makes his channel so good and much better than most other board game channels. He spends ZERO time talking about other stuff or himself and gets right to the point about the game. Please change nothing.

Every time be has to backtrack on something he says that is wrong, it just makes it that much harder to follow along. I'll consider this a rough draft of your attempt. Get better.

Good video. The only thing I'd suggest is to use the correct pronoun when referring to a single third person. So use "he" or "she" instead of "they". Less confusing that way.

Players 1, 2, 3 and 4 were never given genders, as keeping track of genders of players you can't see is very difficult. Using a gender-neutral pronoun is easier for genderless beings.
