I practiced this till my lips were sore. So they healed and i was ready to rock, had this off by heart, i was Mr Cool. Time to show my brother what i had learned. I'm 65, he's 61, we both know this chop. Harmonica in pocket, i'm armed with a Hohner Special 20 and i'm full of confidence. My brothers house....listen to this i say.....The show began....... Word of warning, keep your instrument in it's case. A harmonica full of coat fluff is off key on the blow but worse than that, it chokes you on the draw.

Do all the early Beatles harmonica stuff. There are not that many songs, but they are all great. A previous website said Lennon was playing a chromatic harmonica on a different tune.

Hi John, there will be a note missing for this part if you play it on a diatonic harmonica, but it can be played on a different key harmonica or on a chromatic (which has 'all the notes').

Can you put the notes? From what I understand you can play basically 3 octaves chromatic on any Richter harp. Thanks for the bending tutorials, though. Not doing exactly what you described, actually I have no idea what I'm doing, but it works, kinda, for now. This is a great surprise song for the holidays and my audience. I had no idea this guy could play bluesharp!

Hi Mick, you can use the tab for any key of harp, you'll just be playing the song in a different key. Only thing is you couldn't play along with the Beatles song or with me as you wouldn't be in the same key.

Im a drummer and I’ve been playing for 5 years and I’ve hit a road block in my learning, and i hear picking up another instrument could help so I searched and finally realized i always liked the sound of harmonicas, i bought one and I love it, my only issue is my draw on 4 sounds god awful for some reason, i haven’t really even played it that much so I assume its not clogged. At first I thought i was doing something wrong until I learned piano man and I could play the entire intro until the second to last note which was the draw on four Any tips?

However listening to the "love me do (live)" on youtube, on the second time through he adds some amazing sounding effects that i just don't know how to replicate (almost sounds like some super fast vibrato). for some reason, I just got my Harmonica today, and when I breathe in from the second hole, it barely makes any sound. It works when I breathe out from the third hole, though. Which is good bc they are the same notes. I am just wondering if my harmonica was broken.

I asked the same thing! Tried it in C, can't get all the notes. Switched to G, got some of it, not all. Tried D, A, again, got some of the notes but not all. Is this some sort of trade secret that can't be shared? Haha, sorry, just frustrated.

Because it needs to be played on a chromatic. Just saw McCartney and his keys player was playing a chromatic just for that one note!
