one year i sent him a happy birthday pic with my family holding 9 of our turtles wishing him a happy birthday. i know it went in one brain cell and out the other bc a few weeks ago he expressed well wishes and I sent him a selfie with me and one turtle and he said "OMG you saved a turtle". You'd think 9 turtles wishing you happy birthday would be memorable... :) In short, yes, happy birthday stone.

I thought about doing a couple CC songs on friday... but I kept trying and realized it would be best to wait for the emotions to settle within me over the weekend. Of course I didn't know him personally, so it's not the tragic death of a friend, but it's a subtle kind of underlying sadness, which I'm sure so many people feel, people he didn't even know he didn't know. Anyhow, you didn't ask for my thoughts, but I felt compelled to share them... look for a few CC songs this coming week :( Cheers Ashley!
