Today's guess is as follows: Mewtwo is a psychic genetic experiment so Simic hybrid with the aberrant mind sorcerous origin, possible feats include telekinetic/telepathic. EDIT: So i was right about the race and got most of the class levels (didn't really see rogue coming) i missed the feats but resilient does make sense.

Those feats, as presented in UA, can only boost Int. If Tasha’s Cauldron had come out before this build was made, they probably would’ve been included.

@@kingdomkey01 Both Telekinetic and Telepathic allow you to choose the soft stat (INT, WIS, and CHA) to boost which is also the spellcasting for your Mage hand and affects the DC for your psychic shove (for Telekinetic). For Telepathic, it affects your spellcasting ability for detect thoughts

Psycho Cut was never Mewtwo's signiture move. When that move was introduced in Gen 4, it could be learned via level up by Mewtwo, Absol, Kadabra and Alakazam, Gallade, and Cresselia.

A while ago I got the idea in my head to figure out what the Pokémon movie villains would be in D&D. Lawrence would be a lore bard/artificer mix with primary intelligence but absolutely abysmal wisdom. Molly would be either a Great Old One warlock or have a Pact of the Archfey depending on how you view the Unown. And the Marauder would be an Oath of Conquest paladin. I dare someone to make a party with these four characters. It would be hilarious.

My brain really jumped from seeing "Psychic scream" to wondering if there were sonic spells that you could build Black Canary with, then jumped to wondering about a Danny Phantom build, all in about half a second. It was dizzying. Much like a scream attack would be. Then I remembered the best way to go about having a screamy DnD character would be to flavor the spells, probably. I'll have to sit down and see what I can do for a character like that now that the thought has implanted itself into my brain.

Episode #241 of the Fire Emblem stats: Mewtwo. As the most powerful Psychic type, it's great at both types of magic. It also has a strength in authority due mostly to the first Pokemon movie and a budding talent in brawling due to Mega Mewtwo X being a thing. Basing it on its stats, Mewtwo's highest stat is its magic followed by speed and tied for its worst stats are both types of defenses.

Pretty great build! Personally I'd choose Manta Glide or Climbing Claws, and I'd get Shield (Protect) and Fireball (Fire Blast) sooner rather than later, but this still does the job of capturing the power of Mewtwo! (Also, you forgot to mention the extra cantrips at 5th and 10th level, so I'd suggest getting Minor Illusion and Prestidigitation)

Speaking of Psychic-type Pokémon. It's real easy to do a Gardevoir build basically it's a Protector Assimar who is a duel Unity Domain Cleric/Psy-Knight Fighter. Basically Protector Assimar for race since Gardevoir is a duel Psychic/Fairy type Pokémon and any Assimar is as close as we're getting to playing a fairy/fae and pretty much all of Gardevoir's Pokedex entries state this beautiful Pokémon is a extremely loyal companion who will go the distance to protect it's trainer including sacrificing it's life if it means it's trainer and it's fellow Pokémon survive. Now for the two classes Unity Domain Cleric because a lot of the spells including channel divinity pretty much scream protecting and keep friends, and allies safe, and Psy-Knight Fighter is obvious to figure out.

The one thing you neglected was a Mewtwo's inherent cellular regeneration. A HoT and biological immortality, basically. And consciously focusing on psionically stimulating cellular mitosis can regenerate lost or damaged limbs and organs over a short period (a Rest, notionally, with length depending on severity of injury), and stimmed mitosis can be done to others to resolve their injuries.

The reason they went aberrant mind is cuz ignoring components of nearly all spells (with a right roll) can be broken as heck. Imagine having all your spells noncounterspellable. Though would definitely be fixed up with the new psi dice rules but yeah

Arms of Hadar makes tendrils of dark energy erupt from your body that hit any creature within 10 feet of you. Each creature in that area must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, a target takes 2d6 necrotic damage and can't take reactions until its next turn, but on a successful save they'll take half damage with no additional effects. I can't think of a funny remark for that.
