I just want to say I really appreciate the high quality editing and concise explanation without a loud intro or leading with awkward branding. You highlight the game clearly and without being in a rush, and that's exactly what I was looking for. For as laid back and low-stimulation as most boardgames are, it baffles me why so many channels go for loud and flashy. I don't even want to be in the same room as a video playing from certain channels if headphones aren't being used, because it instantly makes me irritated and anxious. I'll definitely be following!

Well that’s extremely kind of you to say. I sometimes worry I’m a bit too tame or not flashy enough, but this is the kind of video I’d want to watch so I keep doing my thing. I like a joke or funny gag now and again, but I figure for the most part people just want to learn a game.

Thanks! I didn't realize it was on BGA. I'm curious how it plays there, cause so much of the game is the shared experience and common shouts of joy or cries of despair depending on how the dice roll.

@@BitewingGames It plays pretty good 😊 Not experienced any bugs with it so far. But yes I can absolutely see how fun it would be as an active shared experience (rather than turn-based across multiple time zones). So much so that we've gone an ordered a physical copy 😊

This feels a lot like Cascadia, with a different theme. The only difference being this is entirely dice driven, while Cascadia combines cards and dice and lets players decide if the Captain has the ability to surpass the challenges. This looks like fun and I adore the theme, but it's all push-your-luck. Cascadia incorporates bluffing.

Hi Kyle, I know you guys put out a many good reprint of older Reiner Knizia games and I wonder if you guys have thought about reprinting Taj Mahal? It is a games I am sure a lot of people would like to get their hands on but it is sadly out of print.

We've chatted about Taj Majal. With Quo Vadis we saw ways to improve/update the game - and Zoo Vadis was born. I LOVE Taj Majal as it is. Not that there couldn't be some new material. So it is on our list of games we love and are considering. Thanks for the feedback.

With the exploration variant, I was wondering if it isn't unfair to immediately replace the earned token with a new token. Doesn't that mean that the commanders that are up first are in a huge advantage, not only able to take the 5 tokens on board, but also new ones that spawn ahead of where the ship is? I'm really hoping you mixed something up from the rules, because that rule really doesn't seem fair.

@@somegotsson you have to land on the exact space to be able to collect them. I don’t think I’ve seen the commander collect more than 2 or 3 tokens on their turn. And some of the tokens award them points, but plenty of them give you dice back or push the rocket forward, so they help everyone in the ship not just the commander.

​​@@BitewingGames Could you please help me with one rule ? Example : got only two dice : "boost" and let's say "two". For travel i used them both. Boost is staying because of the "no discarding" rule. But now, is the "two" dice my last one and also stays , or i have to discard it ? I hope i make it clear. In short is the second dice"two" last one, because the boost dice safe it self by the rule ?

@@Towarzysz_KallIn that case you have to discard the dice. The technical rule is "If the commander ends the discard stage with zero dice remaining, they take one from the cosmic mat." So you don't really keep the last dice, rather you discard all the dice, and if you have zero you take one back.

I have a question about the end of the game. Like mentioned and in the rule book its said the game ends when a player lands his/her last catstronaut. But what about the players who also have their last catstronaut in the rocket and are able to land it as well on the planet or if another space is available, a moon. Do they still get that chance, thus adding a few more points, or does the game end right then and there and they remain in the rocket. Some games give players a chance to make one final play, others don't. Which is the case in MLEM?

The game ends at the end of that expedition. So continue playing until everyone has jumped ship or the rocket crashes.

Sorry for the delayed response - I was without internet for a few days. The UFO stay on the location. It will slowly get closer and closer to the bottom of the board.
