16:10 I'm gonna save you the trouble, mag dair doesn't work, your opponent can just jump, airdodge or attack out if it's fast enough. If you want to combo magnet to down air you'll have to use a flying held magnet, which is a pretty simple frame perfect technique.

Red Cap Also, I find that pk fire once or twice then grab and down throw seems to be at least somewhat effective for racking up damage . Need to try it with back throw, that sounds lethal

I'm surprised I didn't see pk fire-->down grab-->2x fair--> pk fire. It's a more difficult combo to hit but it'll rack up damage

I tested out the falling up air into up tilt, and I discovered that dair works much better at low percentage

Hey, Ness Main here, and the combo game is pretty underwhelming on what you chose. Now I can't really blame you as you don't main Ness, but the community of Ness mains really dislike it. Maybe if you could talked with a Ness Main or did research in the Nesscord, maybe you made some better choices as for the combo game. I would like to talk about some combos. Fair>Double Jump Cancel Magnet>Dair. This is definitely not true, and the community doesn't think so either. Many people just jump or airdodge to escape. As a substitute, Double Jump Cancel PK Fire>Dair is really good after a jablock. Short Hop PK Fire 2x> Fair Once again, this might not be true and you can jump out. Double Jump Cancel PK Fire keeps it low and easier to combo. I would add- Double Jump Cancel Magnet>Nair>(Grab/Jab/Dtilt)> extend Low Charge PK Flash>Dair/Up Air (tech chase on platform) Turnaround Double Jump Cancel Magnet>Upair>Reverse Dtilt

Nice beginner video. One note, it's a lot easier to land up air into up tilt or grab if you fast fall your arial. Also true for the nair into jablock combo.

Nair is your Neutral Air, it’s when you jump and press the attack button without inputting any directions. Tilts are your grounded directional moves that aren’t as strong as a smash attack but are usually pretty fast or good for combos 😄
