That's particularly important because of how different their air movement is. The longest airdodges, a weird arc while jumping, and hability to change momentum.

I don't see myself learning how to play Ness, but watching this video gave me a lot of respect for Ness mains. There character gets hated on from those that dislike playing against this character but little do some of them know that the person playing as Ness has to take in so much info and risky maneuvers to play well.

As a former Ness main, it's really easy. You should actually try to play him for yourself. This guy is talking about how to MASTER him. He makes each character sound hard. I dropped him when I was playing secondary one day and came across a Ness and realized how annoying he was. I just play Greninja now. Trust me, after Kirby, he might be the easiest character to play.

Well I know that Smash has been out for 5 years now but I'm just starting to take it more seriously. I've played Smash games casually with probably under 12 hours playtime on Ultimate. I recently got the game for Christmas and I was playing with Joy Cons for the last few months. Now I got myself a decent Game Cube controller for the switch and I've been re-learning the controls. I used to jump with the left thumb stick now I jump with one of the top buttons on the controller. Anyways, I chose Ness to be my main. He's a lot of fun and I've learned a ton from your videos and other guides. I'm still very much a newbie but I signed up for my first ever local tournament which is in 2 days. I think the best way for me to get better will be to go to local tourney's and learn as much as I can. I very much appreciate these videos! Thanks BestNess!

I was lucky enough to play and buy Earthbound back in 1995 -- the book is in poor shape, box is gone, but I proudly display my cartridge. So you can imagine how overjoyed I was when I unlocked Ness. I was SO happy, he instantly became my new main. I've been playing as the little bastard since 1998, so thank you for this. This video is basically what happens when Ness wraps barbed wire around his bat.

Honestly I don't believe Ness wasn't made to be annoying. Everything from his voice lines being a kid screaming at you, to his recovery being terrible yet kills you extremely early if you mess up an edge guard. Then shit like down smash at ledge and call it "edge guarding"

Yeah, I think that Ness gets a lot of unnecessary hate. I'm biased as a Ness main, but I think that people see PK Fire and Back Throw, and think he takes no skill. They forget about the hype and powerful combos that he can do with a surprisingly high skill cap when he's not spamming the side B button. I get it, trust me, but Ness is a lot cooler than people think.

Ness is beautiful. My main boi since 64. Finally he's better than he's ever been. ToT I often kill with nair after PK Fire. Also down throw a lot to secure more damage, I'm surprised you didn't mentioned that classic. He didn't mention this!! Ness' optimal jab reset is jab, psi magnet, f-smash. The magnet pushes them to the tipper hit box.

Dtilt is better than jab, and this only works against half the cast. The other half the magnet might just push them out of reach of the fsmash entirely.
