I have gone through all of the steps but when I try and launch the game the game citra just closes. It might have to do with my system being not the best but I’m not really sure.

what's your system specs? also do you get any error message by chance? Did you try multiple roms aswell cuz your rom might be corrupted so it just closes cuz it can't use it

@ I have some Pokemon roms installed. My pc right now is ultra budget because I built it for a school project but my switch broke and I’m bored. I have an older intel i3 and a Radeon r7 250 so it might just be the hardware. Also I didn’t get any error messages whatsoever.

did you try switching to opengl renderer, your gpu is from 2013 so I think it has no vulkan support

what type of file is it? if it's a zip you gotta extract it, if it's a cia file you need a mod to launch it

it's pretty simple to do i don't think a video is even needed, just google visual c++ 2015 or visual c++ 2022, whichever u need and download it from microsoft's website which should be the first result

There is a new 3ds emulator coming called azahar emulator. It's a fork of lime and citra emulator

oh i've never seen an error like that, do you have a gpu that supports vulkan? if it's older than 2016 it might not support vulkan then you have to use opengl
