hey man, you'll want to place the ewiz to the left of the path on the right side, and the right of the tower on the left side, it prevents all minimal damage on towers for goblin barrels. Continuing, so only magic archer geometry when you're up two or more elixer. Thanks

Hey Dougie, very nice video and breakdown you did! But I honestly didn't learn anything since most of the explanations you made are common sense for most high ladder players like me (and probably some of other viewers as well). My tip would be to try to play on the high ladder or do a friendly battle against someone you know that's a good player? So then you can make a deeper breakdown for examples in positioning, timing, knowing your opponent's cycle, out-cycling your opponent, predicting, etc. Because, playing against someone with a weird deck spamming at the bridge really won't help us learn something. Nonetheless it's still a good video and if you need help with the matches for a video then I'm always up for a fb!!

Thank you for the comment! Totally makes sense! Yea, the majority of my audience atm is lower/mid ladder and I do want to eventually only play on my main account/higher up ladder. I’m trying to build the channel more and then slowly transition. The hurdle rn is click through, if I bring champion kind of decks/higher up ladder (which are broken cards, etc) most don’t have them therefore they don’t watch which leads to less clicks/views. It’s hard to compete with content creators like Morten, etc too. But yea, thanks again for the comment. I’ll definitely keep grinding.

Although it may be hard to compete with other high ladder KZbinrs like Morten, you can still do something different by doing deep breakdowns like I mentioned since I haven't actually found any CR KZbinrs that does that. I like to use dark prince instead of royal ghost. His attack is faster and he has a shield, which helps a lot in many situations.

Ya but he doesn’t have invisibility and costs 1 extra. Ghost puts up good offense and is a lot harder to defend. While DP is super easy to deal with.

I play a variation of pekka Bridge spam. It has: pekka, battle ram, arrows, log, e wiz, Tesla tornado and mirror. Sometimes I swap the tornado with rage or the mirror with executioner

So if I have ran in rotation I go offensive. If not I wait until my opponent plays and go defend.

Haha, I know the feeling. Both are very good. I feel pekka bridge spam is more safe/easier vs hog cycle (really all cycle decks overall) which can be harder to play. I’m personally a fan of cycle decks because I think it makes players better at the game.

I use a more defensive bridge spam deck, I changed the battle ram for skarmy, because it can defend a lot of the annoying cards like ebarbs, making the opponent to overcommit

@@DougieDYT works well in my trophy range (5300 - 5600) it's a better match up with people with inferno tower or logbait, but it also makes winning against hog a lot harder, cause you have less options to get to the tower. I would recommend anyone to try the deck

1:29 This is my main (and almost only) deck since 2021, except the ghost is a dark knight and the poison is a fire ball. I LOVE my deck, but sometimes I wanna play other decks, but I can’t. Guess why? Yes, cards level, im a free to play player, and I can’t do anything against people putting money in the game on one single deck. I really wanna get into clash royale strategy, but I can’t without spending money.

From all of your videos I know I need to manage my Elixer, but I don't know how. Do I always keep 3 Elixer in reserve? Do I need to learn which troops counter other troops? Do I just play one counter to the opponent's pushes and hope the counter works because I am saving Elixer for the future?

I wouldn’t think about having a reserve, but focusing on what you said last is good, defending (1 or more cards) and then counter pushing. Honestly, patience is the biggest piece to learn which leads to better elixir management. The first little bit of the battle you’re learning your opponent’s deck and how they counter yours. A rule of thumb is to not drop support/defensive type troops at the bridge. And you should always be working toward getting your push going, example, if you’re running hog rider & Valk and you want your main win condition push to be hog behind valk so she can defend while hog makes it to the tower, your goal should be to defend on your side of the arena with valk & while that battle is happening, you’re building elixir and once she defends you run hog rider behind her. Also, over defending is another mistake people make (not managing elixir), sometimes it’s best to take a little bit of damage (unless your tower is super low) so you can save elixir and build up your win condition push.

Yes, for sure, positive elixir gains is how I refer to that. One reason I love cycle decks/hog 2.6, because they are built, among many reasons, to counter “bigger” pushes for a positive gain.

Nice video but with golem in like master 2-3 u want to pressure the other lane becasue they usally have e-barbs infero dragon which can kill your pekka easly

Yup, my hope here was no ebarbs and lightning (knowing it was low ladder lol) and being able to maximize magic archer's value. But yeah, typically I'd go opposite lane (bridge spam style) to apply pressure not allowing my opponent to build a huge golem push.

Musketeer knight and honestly, bandit is the hardest. Can really sub for her dash ability. Any way you can trade someone? If they put the trade up, you’ll be able to accept it.
