This is a game I might have played when I was younger. Is there a Viking version? The yearly adventure would be "Let's go raid the Irish!" Yay!!!

There is no Viking version, but the system is pretty easy to adapt to different settings and would work well following the Eddas or Sagas. In Pendragon, technological advancement is accelerated quite a bit, so you can start in the dark ages and in a couple generations, you are in high-medieval times, a thousand years later, but then again, this is easy to take out.

Great stuff! I only wish one thing were different. I've only ever seen this game in one place: a friend's shelf. Where do you recommend getting it today? I mean, I'm going to find out on my own, but since you're already doing work for me by learning the game, why not add that extra step? It's also a good opportunity to have some influence, like recommending a vendor who isn't drivethroo, etc.

humm... you're right; I should have provided the information about where to get the game. Unfortunately, the print copies are only sold on DriveThru. I believe Chaosium sells the PDF directly. Otherwise, ebay could be an option, but even there, it is hard to find or very expensive.
