This is the strongest character in the game in my opinion. I think all his builds are viable and his main issue is getting out of early game. After that I think most runs are pretty free if you can manage to get some vitality or golden coat of chainmail. Hopefully this video helps you learn this character. Haha thank you! I've put a lot of hours in this game, probably in the top 0.5% of players time wise so that's a big factor. And yeah I think that's something that turns people away from this game, I've had a few friends find it to be too difficult to stick with unfortunatly

man solo gameplay looks soooo easy :D I usually play with a team of 3 in nightmare and ngl, its pretty rough :p

Agreed, solo is normally easier due to how many enemies will be pulled into a camp in co-op. Some co-op camps just seem impossible when you have 30 enemies in one area

Piper is a great character, but in my opinion he's about middle of the pack when it comes to consistent strength. Imo early game strength is the most important factor in the game (but only to a certain extent because I've got queen ranked pretty low despite her early game strength). If hope diamond isn't banned (the vast majority of your clips/footage used it) any character can (and probably will) have pretty consistent strong runs by avalaon, and every character has access to golden coat (so defensiveness is solved) For me the characters are ranked (ordered): SSS: Wukong, Melusine SS: Scarlet S: Gepetto, Piper, Beowulf A: Queen B: Aladdin

Completely agree with the early game strength factor, that's definitely the hardest part of any piper run. I think I value him so high because late game requires so little from you to be able to completely wipe a camp. Also I value stagger potential and access to vulnerable a lot higher now because of the final bosses and Piper is the best in both of those departments. There's also the challenge run I did with 5 negative modifiers and I think his chorus + low notes build is one of the few builds on any character that puts out enough damage to complete that run. I personally have a different list for the characters (I feel like I'm one of the only people that loves Aladdin), but I agree with most of it. Watching players that are really good with Wukong is insane to see them delete everything on the map

chours + lownotes is ungodly haha, unfortunately you can't get it every run but it is incredibly strong I like Aladdin too, it's just someone has to be the least strong and in my opinion it's him - I think B tier is still very respectable And I just gotta say the devs did an absolutely wonderful job with making all the characters powerful in their own way, and also insanely unique and interesting

@@iAmMuu yeah that's probably my favorite thing about this game, I think melusine and geppetto are such cool concepts for how they're meant to play, and yeah I love how no character seems "bad" to me, if anything just less consistent
