I just want to say thank you so much for these I am going to play basketball for the first time this year because my parents haven't allowed me to play until now. I don't know what exact position I'll play but I did see your video about center and that helped me understand so much,this video is also helping a lot as well.

@bballcoachallen3 жыл бұрын
thats good, but I do suggest practicing your shooting as every player needs that going into the future. Also ball handling most likely as well as we now are seeing 7 footers coming into the league over the next 3 years who can handle the Basketball like a guard.... We all got to start somewhere, I know you will be great

work on skills for all positions but you'll most likely be a Forward and depending on the team you may be a guard ... 90% chance Forward (SF/PF) while if your school was like mine when I was in grade 7/8 our starting lineup was all 6 footers except our PG

Hey coach so as a 6'1-6'2 pf.for my intramural how can I improve my positioning on the mid post like my low post work.is solid and my jumpshot I'd decent but I struggle with angles cause I usually like to use bank on my mid-range like the reverse pivot ducan bank shot . But what other angles can I take in the mid post to.kind of have a better shot sometime I feel I'm.to far and sometimes to close I usually postion my self around the mid post so usually around the second block

squats... try the 100 squats a day challenge ... I would also suggest doing the 100 sit ups ..... every 2nd day do 100 pushups and as many pull ups as you can.... after 2 weeks add 30 squats and lunges every 2 days .... do this for a month and that will very quickly make you stronger

@purpledino50483 жыл бұрын
@@goncalooliveira7936 I’d say SF unless there’s no one else taller. If you’re the tallest out of possible forwards be a PF. If you don’t grow 4+ inches in the next year, stick with being a guard. You can develop your guard skills by doing that then if you do end up growing alot later on, you can go back to the frontcourt like Anthony Davis did. He was a point guard in HS then grew throughout the years and went to a PF. That’s why he’s elite as a PF; originally a PG.

at 5'8 it really depends on age, if your younger then you could be looking at Forward or Center but if your over the age of 13 you will be a guard .... defense and rebounding is extremely important but also work on shooting and dribbling.
