How to play Quarriors! Step by Step turn based guide

This is Quarriors! the dice building game. I have made this video to help anyone who has purchased the game and can't quite get the rules straight.
Its a turn by turn example showing the basic outlines, how you summon, purchase new items and cull dice, any Special features on the cards and how to set the game up.
This is Game was bought for £34 ish from Oggames in the UK. You can see very nice component break downs in drakkenstrikes videos.
Also showing the dice tray i made after watching 'watch it played' channel

wish there were more game explanation videos like this. so many reviews get bogged down in the little details that are learned naturally through playing it's nice just to see someone go through a few turns of a game.

HI, Thanks for watching, when one of your creatures gets defeated it goes into your discard pile. There is a variant of the game now which changes this however, I believe you can play.. Creature defeated - Cull Creature scores - Cull It stops the dragon coming out and one player dominating...

Picked up the game the other day but really struggled with the rule book, no illustrations of how a set up board should look etc, Got me very nervous if I was doing it right! Thank you for doing this video. I now understand how to play it. I've watch Tom's video (which is great), but didn't fully understand how to play it until now. I had doubts about getting the game, but after watching this play through, I must get this, lol. Great homage to Rodney and Tom :-) I too, have a dice box based off of Rodney's idea, lol. A very good video. Just one note however, when you roll the Wizard for the first time (at about 9 minutes in) the face rolled actually gives you 1 quiddity to spend and lets you draw and roll an additional die from your bag; it is not a re-roll.

Great Video, helped a lot with learning the game. I would just say in the future when you teach a game go over all mechanics, you left out the spells portion because you don't play them, but that doesn't mean we don't need to know how they work. But thank you for the video! It was helpful in understanding the game.

Correct, you can opt out and choose not to cull. The aim of culling is to groom your hand so that every dip of the bag brings good quality dice, but yes.. You need quiddity dice to survive. Most of the high value creatures and a quiddity 'side' on them..

@indianacheckers - no.. If you have drawn 6 dice from your last round and you only have 4 dice left in your bag and 8 in your discard pile, you replenish the bag with your discard and draw 2 more.. I think it's in the rule book.. Have not got the book to hand to confirm but I am 99.9% sure that's the correct way to play.. You always need 6 dice to start a round. Thanks for viewing! :)

@kevashim well spotted! Its a portal. I always thought it was one or the other. Turns out its money and a portal die as there is no 'slash' separating the 2 items on the die

not sure it would translate solo very well... its the whole attacking 'other players' aspect. Its the game. The quarriors lord of the rings release has a solo variant that works ok I believe.

What happens if you cull dice to the point that you would have less then six and if you need quiditty to play creatures why would you want to keep getting rid of it?It's better to loose quidity rather than creatures but can you opt out of culling to the wild or is it manditory?

I just bought the expansion called Armageddon and when researched it says it comes with 40 dice...but what I got was a total of 190 dice, bags and color pieces. What gives? Not sure why.

they had a blast. but yea i would be suprised if you could ever find it. games like this with customised dice cant have too many print runs. which is a shame, its a fantasic gateway to more advanced games. it teaches so many gaming concepts in a really simple(after you learn the rules ) and fun game

I thought that if you only have say 4 dice in your bag, you can only roll those 4 dice. It's not until your all out do you get to add all the used dice back in.

Ahhh, Missed that, rule book states no dice on that card.. it does not make any difference to the play though, I don't think anyone has bought a basic quiddity die.
