Beautiful touch and such expert tuition. I'm sorry that I've commented before but everytime I see this I feel compelled to comment again. This piece is my goal - hence I come back here at each stage of my learning. I've watched/googled everthing I can on this piece - but only your interpretation moves me, it's the magic touch. No one can teach that Hopefully that still comes naturally with me - I'm finding with age that the finger memory takes longer and it's hard work no matter what other comments may say. This is a lifes work to play well.

Rachmaninoff said one must have patience, patience, patience and then more patience, if one is to master the piano. I play this prelude (though I am still working on it). Good tutorial. My teacher's line goes to Lechitizky to Beethoven, Rachmaninov met Lechitizky in 1902 in Vienna. He dedicated his Chopin variations to him.

This is beautifully planned, edited, taught and executed. I'm glad I've stumbled upon your channel. This piece is on my list for 2023, and one of my strategies is to actually start learning the piece from the middle part as this will be the most technically challenging for me, especially the left hand and the middle voicing. You play very well and the guidance of the piece is very understandable. But I noticed a very small - not particularly noticeable - mistake. A wrong note. In the fourth score, in the first bar you press the do key instead of the note la. just a remark. I hope you see my message and understand it!

I talk quite a bit about this topic in the video. You must work on the wrist movements and keep them very relaxed to play "piano." Also, I recommend practicing slowly because playing fast before knowing the piece well causes tension and makes it very difficult to play softer. Good luck!
