This was sublime! I enjoyed the tutorial knowing I'll never have the level to even attempt this piece on the piano, but I love to hear how an artist builds his/her interpretation. Then came your performance at the end... To be honest, because of practicing this piece so many times on the violin, I was a bit tired of it. But... Wow! It was pure magic to listen to your performance after all the detailed explanation. So beautiful! It's cliché to say so, but you did make it new to me. Thank you so much for sharing! Joy in the music!Bravo! 🎉🌻

I played this piece but one part confuses me till now. 14:25 last bar. Can someone tell me if I should release the pedal right before the last phrase? So the last part is played WITHOUT the pedal?

Antune well done and thank you. I notice you have big "Rachmaninoff hands" -- you finger RH 1-2-3 at end of bar 17 (3rd section); that inner g of the RH chord there slows down that 4-note octave RH run for me, so I just leave it out. Oh well.

Thank you for your hardwork to make this video. It's inspiring to learn how to properly express yourself on the piano, instead of playing correctly with all the notes. Playing this piece is hard enough for a beginner.

I thought I knew how to play the piece, but it turns out I only knew what notes to press. Great insights and it's bringing me closer to not just playing but experiencing the piece, as well as not just knowing what notes to press, but how to press them too! Would love to see Chopin Waltz in C sharp minor!

I have just started to study this nocturne and I'm glad I found this video. By the way, I was worried about the longest scale of the coda, because I couldn't possibly play it at the tempo this piece is usually played, but I have just listened to several versions and I have found that everybody slows down there...

I think its the little details that make this sound so much better when you are a pro, I am just trying to improve how the first trino begins just a little after the bass note, if I do it in a different timing it just doesn't sound as good, this pianist is the best teacher

Thank you! Other piano “tutorials” I’ve seen are simply harmonic analyses. They really don’t teach how to approach or play the pieces.
