looks really cool 🙂 do i undestand it correctly, that the differnce between melee and raged wepaons is that ranged need ammo, but offer more damage?

Yes, for the most part. Ranged weapons tend to have more special abilities and/or do more damage. But there are melee weapons that are really strong as well.

That's a great idea! I mean, Rage in Hell is definitely parodying the over-the-top DOOM theme on purpose. They fit thematically at the very least. Fun fact: The earlier versions of this game actually had you fighting up to 4 demons at once to simulate being overwhelmed by demons just like in DOOM, but that was way too hard (and too much book keeping) so I axed it.
