I binge your content for legion and armada. GF and I just bought this game glad to see you already covered it

Well done! Very comprehensive yet compact rules overview. Keep up the good work.

Exactly the video I was looking for after having just received my copy and most of the Kick Starter upgrades. Played and paused while I unboxed for the first time. Great breakdown for the base set which makes the expansions easier to open up and understand how they’ll alter the game. Thanks!

I love that you're branching out into more games as well as keeping me up to date on armada. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! One of my hopes is the more people I can reach, then hopefully the more people will start to notice these amazing Star Wars games as well!

Finally got my copy. Nice quick rundown of how to setup and play. Can't wait.

Still waiting for my KS stuff to arrive. I agree with the comments about you branching into non-SW stuff, keep it up. I haven't decided if I'm going to actually paint these or just do some ink washes and highlights in the base colors to help them stand out.

This was a LOT to cover. Thanks for taking the time to make the video. This helped me.

As a wargamer this game really appeals to me. I love the hidden orders segment of the game.

Thanks for the run through. We are going playing tonight and hopefully it might give me a little advantage

Correction - players do NOT start with a Shinto on the board - just a Daiymo, Bushi, and Stronghold. Additionally Ronin, as well as money, are returned to the supply at the end of the season, (though Ronin do remain through ALL battles during War, so you CAN still use them for multiple battles).

Great video. Does the base game that I buy in store have the plastic coins??
@Oblowsky6 жыл бұрын
nope
@Crabbok6 жыл бұрын
I did NOT upgrade my coins - they had a Metal Coin upgrade option so I'm inclined to say YES, the retail version should come with plastic coins.
@adamheeley2856 жыл бұрын
Cool thanks, I got a kickstarter set too, the plastic ones are actually pretty decent.

Great comprehensive tutorial. Until Rodney Smith does one, this is the best one I've seen. Great work. Thanks!

Wow thank you! Rodney is amazing so to even be loosely compared to him is quite a compliment!

Really good rules video! You have a nice way of explaining things, not too slow/fast, not boring. Good audio too. Only negative is a bit longer than my friends' attention span! Under 20mins would be ideal. Will you be doing more Board games rules? If so, I will happily subscribe. Regards, Salman
@Crabbok6 жыл бұрын
I plan to. While I will still primarily cover Star Wars related content, I am planning to increase my coverage of board games this year significantly. I tend to favor games that have really nice components.
@Vjaazerd6 жыл бұрын
I completely agree with Salman here. Its really nice to have someone explaining that is wellspoken without to many errrs and a good cadence. I think you can easily shave off 10 to 15 minutes of the length with some editing but for me, you are right up there with Tom Vasel, Drakkenstrike and Rodney Smith. Subbed, and I am excited to see where you take your channel!

Thanks for this , still waiting on my game to be delivered . Do the shintos at the shrine restart every season ? Or do they stay there the whole game
@eddietotheb6 жыл бұрын
Clans should start with a daimyo, bushi and a stronghold (no Shinto).

Great video. I really liked the Game of Thrones references. Also, you could have brought up kickstarter components a lot less since you were not using them
@Crabbok6 жыл бұрын
Probably - but I was afraid I would confuse everyone who currently HAS the game, as they will all probably be using those components now.

Yea. Your kinda stuck between a rock and Koi Can there

At 40:05, you say "what's worse is, the loser gives his money to the other person" not true, the winner divides his money among the other players equally, the losers just lose there money to the common supply.

thanks for doing this.

Looks like a great game. Will the Kickstarter stuff be available anywhere else?
@Crabbok6 жыл бұрын
The core game will be available in retail stores probably very soon. I believe at least one, if not more expansions will also come to retail. CMON games tend to always launch on kickstarter first, and offer some nice exclusives to backers there... while still being a very good game even if bought retail later on.
@Captaincapafew146 жыл бұрын
Crabbok Thank you! This is the first game I have seen from them. Keep up the great content.

@rolandbruno6866 жыл бұрын
In the combat explanantion you started mention something about if you lose a bid, you also have to give your money to the winner? Was that an error? That would be doubly bad. Not only do you not get whatever you bid on, your opponent also gets more coins.
@Crabbok6 жыл бұрын
If you win the battle you give the money to the loser. Did I say it backwards?
@bobdole88306 жыл бұрын
you do lose your coins if you lose the bet, so no consequenceless lowballing. BUT if you lose the money goes to the "bank". The victor however will have to distribute his bet among the others as fairly as possible

Great looking game however not impressed with the game board. Sorry but I don't see Japan when I look at that map. It's bad.
