If you feel like going on a Megadeth spree, I'd love to hear My Last Words. Crazy underrated, crazy awesome

its 2019 and I came back to this video because I simply forgot the solo and its just crazy to look back at the years how much progress you have done in this channel Chris and how many people you have helped get through this complicated solos, Thank you for being such a great instructor/musician and sharing your skills with us.

Damn the way you teach makes it easy its just hella fast, took me 3 days to memorise everything I can play it super slow note for note. Now just a couple more weeks or maybe one week to get the speed down. Thanks! And that was free!!! Awesome

Love your tutorials. It's super clear as always👌. Like all of Marty's work this one is also very nuanced and very difficult to nail🥵. At least for me it is to be honest. I am more practicing patience with where I lack than dealing with progress that I make that's for damn sure. This solo will put any great guitar player to the test in my opinion. I think I had an easier time digesting Tornado of Souls -(still needs polishing of course to be where I want it needless to say) than Skin O'My Teeth. Thank You for all your hard work and patience to break it down so meticulously for us. It really helps🤘. Cheers🍻🤟.

How this doesn't have more likes to go with the views, I will never know. I mean, I've had a tab book of Countdown for years, but I was never able to actually play any of these solos. Marty has got some amazing licks! That run at the start of section two and the sweep picking in Ashes in Your Mouth are right up there with some of the most challenging licks in metal! Phenomenal guitarist! Great transcription! That takes a lot of ability to nail that one note for note! A lot of other Megadeth lead guitarists don't even bother, they just fake it lol

Nah wtf that's too hard lol. I think Marty's days in Megadeth were his best, none of his solo stuff has really impressed me as much and I quite like his solo stuff too.
@panzerlieb2 жыл бұрын
They were his best days. Marty is the kind of guitarist that needs to be pushed/challenged by someone. Dave Mustaine was/is the kind of person that pushes/challenges people (annoyingly so according to some people) But the results are clear. When challenged, Marty produced the best stuff he had.
@anish31832 жыл бұрын
His solo stuff is brilliant to me. He has some insanely technical, super underrated solo stuff.
@HighPriestVaticanAssasin Жыл бұрын
@@anish3183 where should I start?
@anish3183 Жыл бұрын
@@HighPriestVaticanAssasin Dragon's Kiss, his solo debut for his most metal work or even his 2014 album inferno would do for metal work. Otherwise, for something more pleasant and probably one of his most peak albums, his 2nd album Scenes is high level instrumental music just like Dragon's Kiss is.
