I recorded the same thing. Their was 4 seconds for his friend to slide 100 dollar bill in there. The 10000 showed up 4 seconds later. The penny was never added. It was just reading that 1 penny is credit, not that he had a credit of 1 penny. Also the 7 in the middle was always there. It had nothing to do with anything that he did.

I am inclined to surmise that any sort of 'system' like this attempted on slots nowadays would trigger a surreptitious alarm to security or management, telling them that some sort of odd manipulation is being attempted without any wagering value having been inserted first. I.E., the machine's computer processor, after the last cashout, begins monitoring for the next wagering cash/ticket to be inserted. That is the first thing it is looking for. If the various buttons are sensed being pushed in any sort of specific sequence before the wager cash/ticket is inserted, that alerts the processor's monitoring circuitry/programming to possible suspicious activity, and off goes a silent warning alert to whomever. Ergo: checkmate, sucker.
