I use a more refined version of the same method. I pull off a random number of toilet paper sheets. Then I roll a pair of dice. I multiple the dice total by the number of toilet paper sheets, then offset each digit of the horseshoe code by that number.

I recorded the same thing. Their was 4 seconds for his friend to slide 100 dollar bill in there. The 10000 showed up 4 seconds later. The penny was never added. It was just reading that 1 penny is credit, not that he had a credit of 1 penny. Also the 7 in the middle was always there. It had nothing to do with anything that he did.
