This really helps me and all the other solo queue players that always pick Snorlax due to nobody picking him almost like 90% of the time, and the other 5% playing Snorlax doesnt know what the hell is happening in the match.

I would wait for a bit before taking this advice, since sleep as a status seems to have gotten nerfed, I really doubt this strat will steal work since yawn is now waaaaay weaker. Hopefully it does but I would wait for it

This video is amazing at teaching what snorlax is and what it wants to do in a match, and as a main of the big guy i learned a lot. Btw at 17:05 you can actually hit the two wild pokémon with a single tackle

hey do you think snorlax benefits alots from the current auto target lock on low hp one? that is where we can turn the tides of the match lol

@@MinhHO.168 It does help a lot, but being able to target opponents specifically (like the one charging goal) is always an option. It's much easier on mobile, just tap the Pokemon's face in the bottom right you are wanting to attack. On Switch, you have to turn on the aim assist targeting wheel that sits on the far right. Takes some getting used to, but worth.

My main role as Snorlax during the endgame is to be the annoying wall. While the enemy team and my team are going for Zapdos. I help push the enemy team away from Zap. It's saved the game a lot of times. Super proud of that.

I'm gonna take a wild guess that now, instead of Yawning then Flailing into it, ya'll now Flail then Yawn'em to cover your back as ya retreat to stall for Flail's Cooldown to refresh.

What's with the 1-1-3 strat ? Shouldn't holding off 2v3 be easier than 1v2 ? If all playing are very skilled , the top lane can easily get ahead in levels by KO'ing the one trying to hold 2v1 and then rotate bottom after destroying the first goal. The two in the bottom just need to hold off against the three (which should not be difficult early game) until the very fed top laners come for help. Am I missing something here that makes the strategy good ?

It's more about the importance of objectives. Bottom lane is so important in the meta that putting all resources into obtaining it is the most favourable outcome. This is especially true with the top laner being a solid starter like Lucario or Wigglytuff (Which should get evolved when having a lane all by itself).

I don't know if the combo is used but with snorlax you can tackle then use eject button in mid air to extend it ,like Gragas E + flash (from LoL ) ,same works with heavy slam .

@@strangerson712 nah it was wayyyy too strong. Sleep was overpowered. When a character who was previously not in the meta gets 1 change that makes them top tier, that’s a prime example of that thing being overpowered. It needed to be a short sleep or be awoken from a hit or two. If you don’t hit them, you won’t wake them so it will be a great escape option now.

Hmmm. That’s a good question. I think Zera will be more fun, I believe Wild Charge + Spark might be more viable although I may still go Volt Switch. Absol will be even more of an assassin but it needed some small defensive buffs I think I’m MOST excited for jungle Cinderace though.

There's this dissonance hearing how good yawn is but knowing that 99% of people who pick it have no idea how to use it properly especially after the nerf. Example, had a game we were taking a zapdos, enemy guardi shows up and snorlax hit yawn and I thought, "woah what a great move, shut them out of the fight to stop them from stealing" but instead snorlax left zapdos, smacked the guardi awake and it ulted killing everyone and taking zapdos. Feel the same with score shield

When you get low hp, muscle band procs and you start healing which synergizes with the extra damage flail gives you at low hp.The enemy thinks you’re easy to kill but you have super high hp so muscle band makes you heal a lot quickly all while you’re wailing on them with basic attacks

Yeah I stopped playing when I got hard stuck at veteran. There is just WAY too many shit tier ppl playing this game I'm gonna wait for it to die down a little

The quality of players really goes up the higher rank you go in solo q. I feel like veteran is when people start to get the hang of things, but up until about ultra 2 or 3 youre still gonna see some questionable things even in masters. From people picking bad pokemon to people not showing up for zap or drednaw you name it, people not showing up for zap and people not showing up for drednaw are the biggest reason you will lose the match. Having advanced targetting on too is huge. Sometimes you just need to hit drednaw, while your cramorant and blastoise distract the other team.
