Hey Questron, I'm not sure if you've heard, but the Sombra changes are actually a massive nerf, and she's actually so weak that even picking Sombra right now is practically throwing. I would know, I'm gold and all of my kills used to come from permanent stealth (now I can't kill anything). You should main a hero that's actually useful, like Tracer or Cassidy, you'll do much better. :)

To reduce the time of having to wait in invis. in order to be able to have translocator up again, so you can get out (which feels kind of clunky and forced), why not just have a successful hack grant 1 sec. of translocator cooldown back? Heck, if that's too much of a freebie, maybe have the requirement be getting an elim. on a hacked target. Blizzard wants people to use hack out of stealth so badly anyways, this would encourage aggressive hacks and a quicker gameplay loop; you are in fights more often/quicker.

Ah yes, because being able to do everyone's work is situational. Being able to change your gameplay without swapping is situational. Questron getting GM 5 on Sombra in solo queue shows how situational she is, barely fits in any archetype of team. And finally, just playing a hero you like to play and pick that hero first and swap only when really needed is situational too.

@@unnamed.1459 Ah yes, Sombra takes highgrounds and off-angles slower than soldier, she has lower dps than Genji at 10-20 meters range, Sombra isn't able to catch off-guard anyone with new 0.15 delay before attacking from invis like Reaper with his not obvious and definitely not loud "I'm gonna ult" movement, Sombra isn't able to disrupt Widow's gameplay with virus from across the map and killing her with 2 of them if she's careless for her health, and she most definitely can't help her team deal with dive heroes. Truly a 9/10 times you want to swap from her moment, Lifeweaver on release envies her unpickability

Sorry to Genji mains, turns out flanking is a very niche thing to do in Overwatch. You basically said that most DPS heroes are only good at niche situations and should be swapped out instead. I understand no more permanent stealth, but at this point their's no point in playing Sombra. The point of Sombra to get in, set up, get out. But now Hacking takes you out of invisibility and Translocator is tied to invisibility. Literally the only situation to fix Sombra is when you exist Steath early Translocator's cooldown comes back faster. Sombra now relies on you play Mid-Long range and mainly stay behind your team. If you keep tampering with her CORE ability there's no point in playing her cause she isn't consistent.

I love that you are finding a use and enjoying the new changes. They change in direction imo is too much of a departure to what I enjoyed to do as the character and the gameplay loop is really unsatisfying to watch so I still think I’m going to quit her as my main. Game has kinda lost my interest and the doubling down on this rework for the character is kinda making me realize maybe I don’t wanna play the game much anymore

@@masummirza3033 1000% buff, you can emp out of stealth in 0.15s now. I already unstealthed myself manually when hacking (cause how else would I follow up on it??) so that didn't change much

I honestly think it's more fun and useful to play Sombra now. But now you're like a mini soldier 76. You shoot very fast and do a lot of damage. However, as a flanker you are very limited now, so you basically have to use invisibility very wisely. I think it would be nice to have a reduction in cold down on skills or at least move faster, since I feel a bit clunky. But well, people don't like this character and are always complaining, so there will probably be more changes, more nerfs or more buffs. Blizzard honestly doesn't know what to do with this character....sadly.

Its insane to me hearing all the people whining that they took away her play style which was boring, not interactive and overall unhealthy for the game. This new style is more high risk for the value she provides. You have to manage her stealth to get value and windows are way tighter on positioning but its definitely not unplayable and she deals way more damage than before.

That's the problem????? The damage addition is meaningless if her kit is incoherent. She's a soldier76 without heal station. That's literally it rn. Her play style is no longer unique...
