Thank you for showing how to do different time beats and counting them. I'm learning the Cajon for youth worship and am pretty bad with finding out how to play to songs so this should help with that.

Also do you have a video just for figuring out what songs have specific grooves or how to play along to them?

Thank you for sharing! That’s awesome that you are learning and going for it! To your question, yes and no. I have mentioned a few songs before but not a video dedicated to such an idea. I may put together a video just on this. Great questions and suggestions

I don’t however that is a great idea! Check out my music theory videos and practice learning “counting…” it’s fundamental and very helpful for the future… however you gave me a great idea for a lesson series. I am going to try and put something together that may help.

Can you give us a few worship songs to play this rhythm ? Also the ideal metro beat speed for each song would be so helpful. Thank you😇

Hello! Sure. I have listed some in the past. “Great are you Lord” is a good example. As far as ideal meter (I assume that’s what you mean?) I believe the best thing you can do is work on practicing learning basic tones and rythms to a metronome on a daily basis and improving such skill. The better you get at this the more natural your ability to detect what speed you need to play at. You give some great suggestions. I will consider them. Thank you!

Good morning Teacher. This Cajon from this class, did you place it on a table? I would like to see how the teacher did it so I could play in my Church. I don't want to play while sitting on the Cajon in the Traditional position because I'm a woman (Sorry, I'm the one who doesn't feel good in front of everyone in that position). I really liked your style and wanted you to show how you did it. thanks. Greetings from Brazil. 🇧🇷 I used Translator.

Hello! I used a Gibraltar djembe stand. Meinl and Toca makes a cajon stand. Here is a video I made about it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaCoe2CqfJioZpIsi=Q7XFXXPTmCthTYQ_
