yeah, because the only jackbox game that basically required you to play it in person needs a version that requires you to play in person look, i'm excited that they're making physical games, cause it's a very cool concept. but if you want to give me more fakin' it, please make a version of the original game that is optimized for remote play. the version in the naughty pack is not scratching that itch

The naughty pack version has a solid foundation, but the prompts fall flat. The gameplay has been drastically improved, though.

i agree about a remote version of fakin it but a board game version of a jackbox game basically let you play it without computer devices and internet which is very suitable for on-the-go entertainment though so it's not entirely useless

There's a tabletop version of You Don't Know Jack. I would imagine that's technically the first game to get this kind of treatment.

When do you reveal what the prompt was to the group? Because the faker still hasn't seen it. Does someone read the card after the countdown reaction or only after arguing and voting?

So does the faker see the task AFTER everyone responds to the prompt like the normal game? If they never see it, it makes discussion really hard. I don't like that you guys did unanimous vote again instead of majority vote, because then it doesn't really matter how good you are at sleuthing individually, because it's always a better strat to vote as a group to get more information. Although I guess it's a card game so it's easy to make up your own house rules

The fun thing about board games is you can have house rules. So your group can easily show the task card after the prompt response and go by majority vote if you want. No game code can stop you.

Yes they do, there is an extra wallet for revealing the prompt after everyone responds
