Bro there's just something about the mind of someone playing a fighting game competitively that's just absolutely ridiculous. There are those little things that I haven't accounted for such as grabbing, when you grab, which characters love to do it versus which ones don't and why, and so much more stuff. Like what the fuck. I wish I had another way of saying it but it's just absolutely big brain.

i saw someone say wizzy closes his eyes on the throw tech chases, he totally did, does anyone know why he does this? does it just make it easier for him to react to the tech?

I believe the reason why is because it allows him to rest his eyes for a bit. His tech chases go on for a while, and if he didn't blink the whole time it would hurt his eyes and make him tear up and all but he can't just randomly blink during the tech chases because he might miss it. Since he knows that during the throw animation nothing else is happening aside from the animation he has time to close his eyes without worrying of missing anything in game. I don't know if I explained that well enough but I hope it makes sense

@Reno Quichca fox shine near the edge kills the entire cast in two hits at any percent and you can react to di on up throw up air, and sheik down tilt fair, and up throw rest, whats your point? and saying its like rest is not giving anywhere near enough credit to rest, since it kills at actual 10%, falcon knee does not. And saying its a confirmed kill off a read, requires you to win neutral and then get a read, similar to how marth has to first get a grab to do something like a chain grab? you know win neutral -> punish

That’s sort of true, but remember that stomp has a bigger hit box than all of the other openers you listed, and links to knee at a wider range of percent. It’s also an arial which means it can be drifted and done OOS.

and stomp is like frame 14, + jump squat + any air time in-between, its not a fast option and if someone is spamming it you can play around it, fox can dash dance grab it, or dd shine > whatever he wants since shine is set knockback
