It's juste a little suggestions but if you put time stamps in the description it will cut the vidéo in small parts. So basically if you put each beginning of "mesure" or line, it could be usefull for us since we would just have to click to repete the same sequence when we learn. Keep it up !

I'd never figured out the 2nd part to this so I'm going to learn this but there's a 3rd part too this too. walking bass line, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da rhythmn. E B E (4th above) Eb D Db C B, repeat - with melody on similar notes. It was the theme to the movie "shot in the dark" which came before but had the same characters as the Pink Panther movies. I think this theme was also used in the aminated series to make a medley with the main Pink Panther theme.

You're correct about the part with the walking bass line. I use that as the "solo" section and play my own leads over the bass line, then play the rest straight out of the movie versions. I got this out of Hal Leonard's "Jazz Piano Solos Volume 38", which is all Mancini stuff (includes Peter Gunn too!). This book has a nice version the whole song as played in common recordings (caveat, I went through several recordings and movie openings and found out there are many arrangements, presumably all done by Mancini). The walking bass line is scored too (quite easy, almost all quarter notes).

I have a Motorola phone that my daughter Clarice bought me. I'm disabled now - and she generously got me a phone and put me on her Verizon plan! I just received The Pink Panther sheet music from Amazon (thinking I was getting the entire original version).....but it's only the: "ded ant, ded ant, ded ant, ded ant, ded ant..." part. Please don't be offended, but somehow I didn't like this version of the performance of the Pink Panther. Sometimes it doesn't even look like a "Pink Panther". There are even other notes in some places. Perhaps I like the classical jazz performance of this composition, written by composer Henry Mancini, more than yours. And no, you don't think anything so bad. I didn't mean to offend you in any way. This is my strictly personal opinion.

No offense taken. Sure , an orchestra will sound better. Notice that the score is written with 2 bass clefs, the notes are basically correct. I've been working on this song since I made the video. I might update soon.
