Clan Moulder, Clan Pestilens, and Clan Rictus all have smelly back-tail. Ikit Claw wants to make tomb-things go boom-BOOM but idiot-fool Skrolk want tomb-things for plague-harvest. Idiots-fools of Clan Moulder think rat ogres and hell-things are good. No! They make good target-things for ratling-gunners yes-yes! Tretch is tailless-coward that will go boom-BOOM! All seriousness though, Moulder needs to be added as a dlc and I think they would be pretty solid. No idea about what they can do about Pestilens though. Eshin is the most broken of all the Skaven factions atm though.

Moulder will get a lord pack 100% sooner or later. As far as Pestilens go they will probably get anything missing added in the same pack as moulder.

I actually always level up cunning as snikch since you can get him to level 6 on turn one, it essentially guarantees an ambush every single time which is obviously fucking brilliant

I'd argue that Howling Warpgale is just as vital for Ikit as Warp Lightning. You're going to be fighting Bretonnia, the Empire, and Wood Elves. All of them have good flying units or Lords, and locking down that movement gives weapons teams enough time to blast them out of the sky.

11:29 There's also the Legendoftotalwar Special for Ikit: A Doomflayer bike to literally run circles around the enemy army. He won't get hit by nearly as much Ranged and can distract the whole enemy army.

My issue with some of these lords is that depending on the difficulty you’re playing on you don’t want to go all that way in the red tree. Because a lot of those infantry units become so bad that there’s no point in recruiting them. This giving more credence to the weapons teams and artillery in addition to having heroes and beasts as back up. Especially now with Clan Moulder being released

Personally I prefer my Grand Marshall Queek: -73% upkeep, lvl9 slaves/clanrats/stormvermin, optional lightning strike, -15% recruitment cost, and finally 20% replenishment (30-40% depending on tech or buildings). Then you may upgrade red as you like for further empowerment. In combo with 4 region skaven military province (lvl3 scrap heaps in each): -45%-15%=-60% recruitment cost. I just feel as a campaign Lord Queek has a fantastic time being more of a general then a dueling psychopath as you literally Vermintide your enemies to death in a tide of stormvermin or have the best lasting meatshields for artillery or archers. The only bad side to skaven military provinces is the -4 food or -3 if you have a big enough reactor, but if you are snow balling anyway then battles will gain more food regardless plus any bonuses to post-battle loot i think affect food as well. Thoughts?

I feel like too much points are wasted on the red skill tree for things like clan rat buffs which are gonna be useless in the later stages of the game

My only criticism of those skill picks is that I feel it leaves your lords too weak in combat. But that's really a preference thing. I'm sure I'd get criticized if someone saw my campaigns and saw my mad dash for lightning strike for a lot of lords.

@@ColonelDamneders completely true but I've had rare instances where it failed and I had to fight fair which is completely un-skaven like. But it's more a general move for my campaigns regardless of race picked.

As a general rule, you'd want to go down the blue tree first (or at least grab route marcher first) because it makes your general better on the campaign map. Then you'd want to go down the red tree because it's better to have a weaker lord that makes your army stronger than a strong lord in combat that does next to nothing for your army (looking at you throgg). Yellow tree in an ideal situation should be gone into once you have your key skills in the red tree.

@@ColonelDamneders for starters i would mention how the wolf rats are a good hound unit for the skaven and how the mutant rat ogres, although they are a bit squishy are devastating in the right crowd of units. Also I think it's cool how. In my own personal experience, that throt can replace most melee skaven units with a doom stack of clan moulder beasts. That's my two cents on the matter.

I know I'm late but I tend to use the clanrats (with expendable) to pin priority targets and just bomb them and the hopefully the other guy to great effect .If I lose a few rats oh well there's plenty more

Ok so question. In every video you say to go down the red skill tree, but I always find that skill tree to be rather meh. What is the reason to give my units small bonuses? I know some of the skills are quite good, but they are few and far between.

It's tempting to invest in yellow so your lord is a beast in combat, but when dealing with large unit scale and/or full sized armies, it's not enough to win. Your lord will have 200+ kills but be all alone as your army routes around you. Investing in red means that when your infantry goes up against the exact same infantry equivalent, they are 5-10% stronger and win the deadlock, which while less dramatic, is how you win, especially on higher difficulty where the AI gets hidden stat bonuses.

Not for all of them. I'm not an expert, but for Malus Darkblade you shouldn't pick his dino-horse. It has something to do with the animations not being as good as his standard animations I believe. Also with the Twilight Sister you shouldn't take the dragon mount, because summoning the dragon is way better because you won't be landing with the Lord unit much. Those are some that I know from the top of my head

If assassinate gets a critical success and the target is not immortal, they will permanently die and cant come back. Wound can only ever take them out for a few turns
