Seems almost exactly like the videogame. I like the trading noise for fear & using that to draw extra cards; good way to do the tug of war thing. Seems weird not to include enough Searched tokens for every potential searchable area though.

Seems like the rules want to allow players to always have the chance to use the search action, but give the Sawyer player some control over where that can happen.

@@nightcatarts The search tokens are limited, so once they are all out on the board the Sawyer player must move them when new spots are searched. That way, the searchable spaces are always rotating.

9:12 the rule book says when attacking a sawyer, their actions can be reduced to zero but this video says to a minimum of 1 action. Was this a mistake?

You suppose to play it revealed but in my group we made a house rule to keep it hidden. At least for scenario A. We still haven’t tested enough to see if that’ll be our default way of playing.

Question about the Fire tokens: My Trespasser character pulled a “gasoline” item card, which directed me to place a Fire token in my space and then to bury the card. So… basically I’ve started a fire in the room that I’m in? And from what I understand, it can cause damage/penalties to any good guy or bad guy passing through this space? Does that fire remain in that space throughout the entire game to incur Injury/Penalty to whoever passes through? It doesn’t say how long Fire tokens remain active… Thanks - there’s a lot of variables, but I’m digging it 👍🏻 Thanks!!

The question I have is can the sawyer characters attack more than once during their turn if they are in the same room as the trespassers, or if they had for example, 4 actions would this mean they can attack the same trespasser 4 times? The instructions say each Sawyer member has 1 attack action, so does that mean the attack action can be used multiple times in the same room, or just 1 attack action per turn?

Sawyer's can use that attack action as many times as they want provided they have enough actions left for the turn. So ending your turn adjacent to, or in the same space as a Sawyer is very dangerous and with Leatherface its almost certainly a death sentence.

Play the A. Card and yes you can play this solo but takes a little more concentration to manage all the players and pieces 😅 but it does seem like you are able to play solo! I have only ran 1 game survivors escaped blue car.

This seems too complicated for its own good, especially since the scenario thing seems like it would make it feel repetitive really quickly. There's so many one vs many survival horror board games out or coming out now that I don't think this one will be worth it. Maybe better to stick with the DBD board game or the upcoming games Terrorscape or The Stifling Dark. But maybe I'm just not enough of a TCM fan.

Tbh it is a bit complicated. But believe me, once you get it becomes addicting. I been playing with friends and my partner for the past month and we have a blast. It really captures a horror movie vibe
