I love all these videos! I’ve had this game for awhile and haven’t actually gone through it. These vids help out a lot! Would you be doing a play through in general for this as well?

Very cool. Idk if I didn't pay attention to it if you said it, but what's the end game here? Do you need to reach a relic first in order to win? How do you spawn that relic on the board?

The end game depends on what you decide it to be, but in most cases it is finding the treasure at the end of the map! There is a Treasure Room location card in each level deck, and the aim is to reach that location and complete a Search to find the treasure. The first Raider to find it wins! I also play a variant where you have to return the treasure to an entrance, which makes it even more competitive.

@@DanLooksAtStuff Nice! I'm curious about your variant. How do you do the PvP/relic drop/contest relic carrier? Reach the same place and both players roll the dice and the highest roll get to keep it?

Basically the person that finds the treasure adds it to their unsaved item discoveries, so if they die they drop it at the location that they died. Another player can then go to that location and pick it up. In a recent game we had a situation where we both made it to the treasure room at the same time, so we battled it out. I lost the duel and so my opponent searched and found the treasure, whilst I respawned further back at a save point. My opponent then had to make it back from the treasure room (depth 6) all the way to an entrance (depth 1) whilst avoiding traps and me. I caught up with him and tried to take him out but lost again anyway 🤣 so he got to the entrance and won. The shotgun is overrated 😉
