Correction in the video: 2 Traptrix Rafflesia do not protect each other! The protection effect is "Traptrix monsters you control other than Traptrix Rafflesia." Nonetheless, doubling up on Rafflesia still puts two interactions on the board which is good!

Great guide, but two Traptrix Rafflesia do not protect each other. You are usually better off making Pingu or Redoer instead of the second Rafflesia.

11:17 As a side note for the 2 xyz you cannot make redoer because of arachnocampa lock. And overall don't forget that you can only use 1 holeutea effect per turn, so either the brigandine-like or the reborn one. Edit: nvm you adressed redoer later on

Yeah, Holeutea is indeed a "You can only USE 1 effect of this card once per turn." Very important.

7:30 I believe you are incorrect. If you get nibiru mid combo with Holetea in graveyard you can’t use Holetea graveyard effect because Holetea states at the end “You can only use 1 Traptrix Holetea effect per turn and only once that turn” so you have to wait until your opponents turn to summon back Sera or something.

Considering Kashtira is meant to be popular these days, I didn't run into any on the locals I attended yesterday. Guess they fell out of favor in half a year? I did run into 2 branded decks, 1 that combined it with the new illusion or illusionist or whatever type, and one that just went full ham on me with some scareclaw action, combined with another archetype I never even heard before; that had some branded stuff thrown in for good measure. That said, I did run into a swordsoul as well. But unlike the 2 branded players, I managed to send the swordsoul user packing. He wasn't expecting the 2nd bottomless. Much like the Cyber Dragon dude, whose Infinity play I stopped twice by using bottomless on the level 5 XYZ that they'd have had to use to go into Infinity. Also, he screwed himself over with banishing some really important extra deck monsters with one of his pot cards at the start of his round.

Good stuff! I should make an updated list of this for the new format, but I highly recommend the new "Banishing Trap Hole." It's phenomenal against Unchained, Mannadium, Purrely, etc- pretty much over half the meta!

@@asmophet Yeah well, I put together that deck with only 3 structure decks. Still a 6th place on locals is a 6th place on locals, and it'd have been 4th if I win my last game. That dude's deck had more recursion than I've seen in a long time. Almost Dark World level. And Dark World can deck someone out even if the opponent only uses Maxx C like 15 summons in in master duel.

Quick question about ping taking the albaz… you mentioned the fusion dragon won’t get its effect? Can you explain that a little more please?

They probably meant that Albion and Lubellion cannot make mirrorjade bc you NEED albaz as material, but it is no longer in their GY as ping just took it as material

When you attach their Fallen of Albaz after they have used the effect of Branded Fusion, their Lubellion no longer has a "Fallen of Albaz" to shuffle as fusion material so it will resolve without effect!

Traptrix is good….. Minus the arachno locking you into plants….. sometimes you brick so hard and you desperately need a bagooska to stay alive but you’re locked into plants

When you excede rafflesia then 2nd time. Dows she protect herbother copy and vise versa with her full effect. Which allowing them to be protected from targeting as well?

Rafflesia actually doesn't protect itself or other Rafflesias you control with its effect because it states ", except Traptrix Rafflesia" in its text!
