Thanks for the rules explanation. I love national parks and have been excited about this game for a while, but couldn't convince my wife we should get it. Now she agrees we should get it. Now if I can only find it somewhere..........

We are having a hard time figuring out how to even play. We gave up. The video plays like an SNL commercial skit so it’s hard to follow and a little comical.

Thank you for explaining the official way to play! We got this game as a gift, and we are park enthusiasts! With that said, my wife doesn't like playing board games because she says she always loses. So, I'm interested in playing this game cooperatively, meaning that I would love ideas on how to tweak rules into a set of house rules that will allow us to cooperatively play. Any suggestions are welcome! I'll start... The bear could be the common foe, and the appearance of a bear could be triggered by something in the game (I haven't played it yet, but those with experience playing could have ideas...). The object of the game could be to visit as many parks as possible collectively... Maybe. Any other suggestions from those that have played before?

Can more than one person occupy a park? Can there be multiple tents on the major parks?
@Chadness3165 жыл бұрын
Yes, on page 6 of the Rule Book it says: "All players are free to occupy any Major Park in play, even if it has already been occupied by another player."

We can't stop laughing. This is more complex than D&D. There are so many rules and so many parts - two types of park cards with 3 elements on each, then there's the stones of varying colors. We got this...in 2043!🤔😂

"You may only occupy each Major Park once. in the rules book" What's that? I can only occupy one Major park or I can occupy 3 Major parks cause I have 3 campsites?

Love the enthusiasm for the parks! The park service oversees over 400 units across the nation, however only 60 are considered the major National Parks. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_national_parks_of_the_United_States This doesn't discount the grandeur of any not on the list! My parents went on a bucket list trip to visit all the major parks, and this is what the game was inspired by.
