What’s really wild is that people like me play Voli 1000 times and I think of his ult like “Me splash, me kill.” Never knowing till now that it can counter cc.

I have been playing Voli a lot the last week. I have been switching between frostfire or Divine as my mythic. Feel both are super viable on him right now. I just build depending if I need to be more "sticky" with the slow of gauntlet. Haven't though about Sterak's but will give that a try on him. He is a super fun champ and I feel really easy to climb with. Great video!

Honestly I never go div on voli anymore tri force much better even tho it’s expensive. You should try it feels much better

I've been playing Nash/Rift and it's really fun and the damage can be insane. But you get shredded so quick. It's like being an assassin without a movement/dash ability so you just die in any trading team fight.

@@jimmymemez3977 was going to comment to say this. I play Voli a ton. Nashers build with lethal tempo. it is super fun, but yeah I ult in and die within seconds lol.

@@jimmymemez3977 yeah fr since you’re a designed as an engage frontline champ the way the character is meant to be played you end up taking to much and unable to dish it back out. It is crazy for split pushing tho!

It's basically the split-push build now. Rift/Nashors into Hullbreaker then run it down. Team-fighting with Rift/Nashors is really bad unless you're ahead and someone else goes in first. Voli has no survivability in a teamfight without some tank items.

if ur gonna play him, take revitalise and any other green rune secondary, i like demolish to go with sunderer to wreck towers mid game. also, go conq over pta, better sustain. voli one trick 🐻

@@Cam-qg2rh I do 2 points in Q after first full clear, then max W first, Q second and E last. Conq gives you more damage + a little extra healing in longer fights, and you don't have to worry so much about hitting the same target.

It’s really good for split pushing. But split pushing as jungle isn’t a viable way to win really.

@@lukebent7317 it is tho. In s12 when udyr was good I used to build triforce w hullbreaker and just absolutely obliterate towers in few seconds. Climbed pretty good with just aplitpushing build

@@norbert5497 damn I’d expect it to not work well because its hard to make a split push work when you need to be at the obj’s as jungle. Otherwise you’re giving most of them up.

Flash is pretty predictable, and doesn’t work with Volis kit, where as ghost gives him way more options

I had the same thought a while ago but Voli's Q and W won't do magic damage to activate the scepter (Q already has a 1sec stun anyway) and his E already slows. The only thing it'll effect is his passive, but that takes a bit to ramp up in order to activate. Better off with a different item.

The worst of all comes when you analyze your team mates after teamfight, haha who will betray you first in teamfight haha. Then you get upset and next gank you know what to expect from them, and if they pull some miracle - it's all them. Not running it down - becomes a Tyler1 struggle. We all see him breaking the meta XD hahaha
