9:32 second wrong interpretation of stats in the video. The reason Lucidity tends to have a higher winrate is that it's an item you'll buy when you're ahead and aren't pressured to buy the other boots, *that* is the reason it's got a better winrate. You build it because you think you can get away with it. It's the same thing that happens with Rabadon. If you look at its stats, it always has a very good winrate, far above 50%. No matter the season, no matter the meta. The reason isn't that "you should just rush Rabadon, people are building wrong", it's that people who buy Rabadon are 1. on average already ahead in game 2. Mages whose powerspikes come around the same time as the purchase.

I know I’m in the minority but I always love tank meta even though the only one we had in the last 5 years was last preseason for a week before everyone was so upset they hotfixed it. Didn’t even get a full patch. I love that you actually have front to back fights not just bruisers and assassins that are 0/5 coming out of invis, dashing, or healing for 500 an auto and soloing any mid or adc no matter how fed they are. The problem I’ve always noticed is the way rito buffs or nerfs tanks. It’s always been “oh shit tanks are terrible, instead of buffing there tankiness let’s buff their damage” which then becomes “oh shit, tanks are op let’s nerf their tankiness”. Just classic 200 years. Anyway, have a good one everybody!

@@hallow6763 Sion is the ultimate tank. Every ability has some sort of stun/slow/debuff attached. Every ability is a skill-shot as well. Can't tell me he's a bruiser. Same goes for Galio. He's essentially the magic version of Sion.

Aphelios may be underestimated. Try AoE bruiser build, with titanic hydra and a sheen item being the core items. Also, lethality has worked very well for me, but it did require some adjustment.

There are plenty of anti-tank items to get when you're facing a tank. Just shred them, or ignore them in team-fights. I think the buffs are mainly to allow tanks to fair a bit better in lane, not in team-fights. I'm a Sion main and I'm damn-near unkillable in team-fights (which is counter productive considering his passive) but if I'm up against any sort of bruiser, I'm pretty boned unless they don't know how to lane. A little more damage/mana sustain will help in lane but isn't doing much in team-fights.

okay im been running this through my mind since i seen this video and I will constantly re-edit as thoughts roll out. So buff basic attack ap scaling. completely change w damage type to physical to "phase out ap zeri builds." After using E Q 's will do ADDITIONAL magic damage. They gave E an ap scaling. but want to phase out ap zeri builds. remove the bonus magic damage but raise the ap scaling on R to 110% but "phasing out ap zeri builds." I honestly dont feel the ap ratio shouldve been taken from w at all. at most since they put some ap scalings elsewhere they just lower the scaling or its base dmg. but yea this really kills the champion for me now. i enjoyed playing her like zoe but with minimally a better R in her e that zoe's But not having crit meant i had to earn my cd's because crits refresh skills faster. it just doesnt make any sense

What's funny is twitch and trist are hard counters to zeri (or at least were but I'm sure will still be), so with their playrate the wine are for zeri will likely still be low

Not really. The item changes have been net negative for hypercarry tristana and net positice for zeri. It will all come down to wether tristana can secure a lead or will zeri just outrange and outdamage tristanas all in potential. Twitch does scale the same, but is immobile. With burst fighters, fighter assasins and divers being main heavy hitters, twitch may drop out of meta solely because other lanes can take him put before his 2 attack kill shots ever reach the target. Taric,lulu and soraka will be the ones to watch out with twitch. Leona, tresh and vi of all things will be insane with tristanas lvl2. We will also see a lot less heal and the rise of barrier, since preventing damage comes much more important

I think she's a good blind pick because she is super hard to snowball against with her safety, even more than ezreal. She neutralizes a lot of lanes. But she's not a good champ to play for 1v9ing games, she just doesn't have that kind of dmg output

Bro zeri is literally about numbers. It’s not that people overhype the champ, she was really good having the highest win rate in mid, bot and too at a point before reworks and nerf. She the best adc against tanks which is why her buff now means a lot for pro/ high players and infinity increase her overall damage in combat(if favored). The only adc that remotely close to zeri late game is vayne. Twitch strong with his burst but not as bs as zeri/vayne

Tanks are performing if you go a bruiser dmg item first (Demonic for AP melee). It's just, players are dumb and they build bad. The tank mythics are great second, but you will clear like a slug if you build them first. People try Sunfire first for the dmg to clear faster but it's complete shit compared to Demonic, even the massive buffs to it next patch won't compete with Demonic at all.

Tanks are not doing well because bruisers are broken, bruisers counter tanks so hard that they become kinda useless. Yes a tank can kill a ADC without lifesteal but a bruiser with hydra can stand still for 10 sec then cast 1 spell and they are full hp again

I don't feel feel like tanks are preforming poorly because of 100hp, I think it's because of how strong botrk is early. If you're even in lane, tabi and Hartsteel are still outclassed by %hp auto attack damage. Maybe I'm just a shit player and all, but it feels kinda redundant to play a tank.

Don't rush heartseeker against botrk builders. Go for anything that either gives resistances or debuffs the enemy. I found Jak'Sho with tabi works well. Where it will not (fiora for example) Anathomas Chains into tabi is much more powerful. You will delay your mythic, but you gain more from vendettas damage reduction. And extra CC duration to break through tenacity stacking also helps. Another good option is frozen heart into tabi (vayne+fiora) or frozen heart into tabi. Since you mentioned tabi, I assume ad dueling champs give trouble. Edit: Against true damage+ botrk= Anathema chains. (Same with innate armor pen) Against Crit+Botrk: Frozen Heart(yasuo/trynda, also irelia) or randuins omen(trynda/yone) Everything else: Jak Sho, Evershroud or anything else with resistance buff and enemy debuff. Exception: Gnar/WW. Their %hp damage is mostly magic damage, even with botrk. So go for abyssal mask+tabi if you deal magic damage or if you have ad scalings, hexdrinker+ tabi.

I disagree with the statement "tanks are actually underperforming". Everyone and their mother is building Heartsteel. And it's disgusting, you can win lane hard against a tank and still not be able to kill them once they get Heartsteel. The problem aren't the champions, the problem is that item. Edit: y'all, I know that Sunderer and bork counters tanks, I build those items frequently. I wouldn't be complaining if I didn't have a bad time against Heartsteel users even with those items. I know how to play against the item (because I've seen it in every single one of my preseason games), doesn't mean that it isn't an unhealthy item.

I am so utterly tired of low elo players complaining about this borderline useless item. Wanna know what is the definition of disgusting ? Mordekaiser having 300 armour 300 mr with 1 item while outdamaging, outsustaining and outrunning you with ghost. Heartsteel gives only health which by itself is probably the most useless stat in the game. In a game where every AD champion can hit you for 1k without any resource spent like mana or energy, on 1 or 2 basic attacks, health by itself is almost completely useless. Even those who use mana/energy, can either deal 2k-3k easily in a few spells without ever running out of said resource, only thing keeping them in check being cooldowns. Heartsteel is a tank item that is meant for scaling. Snowballing while building the item feels impossible to play against, and they will eventually outscale you regardless of how the laning phase went. Guess what. That is the definition of infinite scaling. For a mythic that takes up a slot to only give HP both in stats and in its mythic passive, i'd say it's quite weak in comparison to the other mythics added in the preseason. "Oh no everyone has 56k hp and scales infinitely", is not a problem in a game where BOTRK/liandrys/demonic exists AND you can get the the required pen to get through any items they build after that with literally 1 item. 2 items required to counter their entire champion and playstyle, regardless of you being ad/ap. And if you mean to tell me you play something that can't build either of those, you lost in champion select. That shouldn't be possbile in the first place since the ADC role as a whole is designed to kill tanks, but hey, I guess anything is possible in low elo right ? The one f*cking season tanks aren't literally useless and actually viable and even slightly fun to play, the whole low elo dogs community rises up because they can't kill a 5 leves ahead sion with their 2 items on adc in min 30. I recommend actually investing some time in the game and learning if before crying about something you clearly have no idea about. If I had 1 penny for every plat/d4 hardstuck and lower complaining about heartsteel, i'd buy the game and nerf hecarim/rammus/mordekaiser myself.

Is it just me but I honestly don't get half of these adjustments. With how many champs are in the game and especially the cracked out newer ones, alot of these old champs need reworks, or updates. Alot of old basic crap champs out there, some more mana reign does make up for the fact that their kit is just shit now a days. But maybe we don't want that.. look how they butchered champs like Swain.

Tbf if they really want to buff tanks and not bruisers ... nerf blade / divine ... not even need to nerf vayne or sth since players should be rewarded for certain picks... but since everyone can build blade / divine it just feels disgusting to play against that as a tank... when the enemy camille heals for 1k from a tank while doing 2k truedmg to you with each divine procc ... fun times

Not everyone on the team is a tank or a bruiser though. If the enemy carries are all forced to be building to counter one or two tanks on your team then they they are dealing less damage against your non-tanks. It's a trade off.

Divine and Blade deal physical damage. You can stack armor. Vayne deals % health true damage which is beyond broken (I’m not saying vayne is broken rn, I’m saying the mechanic of max health true damage is broken)

I am so utterly tired of low elo players complaining about this borderline useless item. Wanna know what is the definition of disgusting ? Mordekaiser having 300 armour 300 mr with 1 item while outdamaging, outsustaining and outrunning you with ghost. Heartsteel gives only health which by itself is probably the most useless stat in the game. In a game where every AD champion can hit you for 1k without any resource spent like mana or energy, on 1 or 2 basic attacks, health by itself is almost completely useless. Even those who use mana/energy, can either deal 2k-3k easily in a few spells without ever running out of said resource, only thing keeping them in check being cooldowns. Heartsteel is a tank item that is meant for scaling. Snowballing while building the item feels impossible to play against, and they will eventually outscale you regardless of how the laning phase went. Guess what. That is the definition of infinite scaling. For a mythic that takes up a slot to only give HP both in stats and in its mythic passive, i'd say it's quite weak in comparison to the other mythics added in the preseason. "Oh no everyone has 56k hp and scales infinitely", is not a problem in a game where BOTRK/liandrys/demonic exists AND you can get the the required pen to get through any items they build after that with literally 1 item. 2 items required to counter their entire champion and playstyle, regardless of you being ad/ap. And if you mean to tell me you play something that can't build either of those, you lost in champion select. That shouldn't be possbile in the first place since the ADC role as a whole is designed to kill tanks, but hey, I guess anything is possible in low elo right ? The one f*cking season tanks aren't literally useless and actually viable and even slightly fun to play, the whole low elo dogs community rises up because they can't kill a 5 leves ahead sion with their 2 items on adc in min 30. I recommend actually investing some time in the game and learning if before crying about something you clearly have no idea about. If I had 1 penny for every plat/d4 hardstuck and lower complaining about heartsteel, i'd buy the game and nerf hecarim/rammus/mordekaiser myself.
